WA653 Microphone Flag Extender

The Shure WA653 Microphone Flag Extender extends the length of Axient

and UHFR wireless handheld transmitters to fit various microphone flags (not

included). Customize transmitter length with an extender to fit your microphone

flag. Package includes two different lengths:

• 1 inch microphone flag extender

• 1.5 inch microphone flag extender

Installation

1. Remove protective ring from top of extender.

2. Thread microphone cartridge into extender.

3. Thread extender into microphone body.

Note: Only extend transmitter maximum of 2.5 inches. Extending more

than 2.5 inches can damage transmitter if dropped.

4. Insert microphone flag from bottom of microphone body.

Warning: Do not insert microphone flag over the cartridge side of the exten-

der. This may damage electrical connections in the extender.
