PHENOMENA CAUSES SOLUTIONS
The volume is set too low.
TV audio output is disabled
or not activated.
The TV and TV related AV
device’s digital audio out
format is not set to PCM when
a DAC (included) is used to do
optical connection.
The audio out port of the
connected audio device is
defective (no signal out).
Speaker
doesn't
work,
no sound
Make sure the volume on your
audio device and speaker has
all been set to a sufficient
volume. If DAC is used for
connection, ensure the DAC is
on and the volume is set to a
proper level.
Set it to PCM. For example:
Settings > Sound >Digital Audio
Out Format > Dolby/DTS/PCM,
select PCM. The menu depends
on TVs.
Follow the TV manual to change
the TV’s AUDIO OUT setting to
“external speakers” or other
proper settings.
Connect to another audio source
to have a test.
PHENOMENA CAUSES SOLUTIONS
The speaker is not connected
with the adapter properly.
The battery is not loaded to the
battery chamber correctly.

6. Use the Speaker with Your Own Wired Headset
for Private Listening
For private TV listening experience without disturbing your family, plug
any of your own wired headset (not included) into the "AUDIO OUT"
jack at the rear of the speaker (Fig 14). Click MUTE key at your TV
remote to OFF the TV internal speakers. Then you can hear enhanced
voice from your wired headset privately.
There is a headset or audio
cable plugged into the AUDIO
OUT port of the speaker.
Speaker is connected to
incorrect RED/WHITE ports
when connecting with RCA
cable.
Check the back of the speaker
and disconnect the audio cable
or headset from the speaker.
Ensure RED/WHITE ports are
labelled "AUDIO OUT" or
"OUTPUT". Red and white
ports from“Component IN”,
“Composite IN”, “VIDEO
IN”are incorrect.
Speaker
doesn't

Slide the input select of the
DAC to “OPT” when using the
optical connection. Slide the
input select to “COA” when
using the coaxial connection.
The input signal selection of
the DAC is inconsistent with
the input signal type when
DAC is used for connection.
