AVPB er en selvvirkende differenstryk-
regulator og flowbegrænser til PN 16
eller PN 25, hvor differenstrykket kan
indstilles på regulatoren og flow'et kan
begrænses vha. den indbyggede
blende. AVPB-F er en selvvirkende
differenstrykregulator og flowbegrænser
til PN 16, hvor differenstrykket er fast
indstillet og flow'et kan begrænses vha.
den indbyggede blende.
Montering
Regulatoren kan monteres i vilkårlig
stilling. Regulatorens ventilhus skal
monteres i varmeanlæggets retur-
ledning, med gennemstrømning i pilens
retning (fig. 6). Danfoss filter type FV
bør monteres i fremløbet (fig. 1 og 2).
En impulsledning af 6 mm kobberrør
er regulatorens plusledning (minus-
ledningen er integreret i regulatoren).
Impulsledningen skal monteres på
oversiden af fremløbsledningen, så der
ikke kan løbe urenheder ind i ledningen.
For at lette monteringen kan ventilhus
og håndtag adskilles ved at løsne
omløberen mellem ventil og membran
(fig. 6). Der må ikke være tryk på an-
lægget når regulatoren adskilles.
Igangsætning
Varmeanlægget igangsættes ved først
at åbne langsomt for fremløbsledning-
ens stophane inden der åbnes for
returledningen.
Trykprøvning
Ved trykprøvning skal impulsledningen
være tilsluttet, og eventuelle nåleventiler
på impulsledningen skal være åbne.
Max. prøvetryk: PN 16 = 25 bar,
PN 25 = 40 bar.
Flowbegrænsning
På AVPB indstilles regulatoren på
ønsket differenstryk (fig. 8) inden den
øverste dækhætte skrues af (fig. 10).
Alle fjernvarmetilslutninger og evt.
bypass skal være åbne for at kunne
opnå max. flow. Drej indstillingsskruen
med uret, med en 3 mm sekskantnøgle
(fig 11), indtil skruen er i bund (min.
flow). En grovindstilling af flow’et kan
foretages ved at dreje indstillingsskruen
mod uret, så mange omdrejninger som
diagrammet (fig.13) viser for at opnå
Indstilling af differenstryk
(kun AVPB, fig 7)
Differenstrykket indstilles ved at dreje
håndtaget. Regulatorens max-indstilling
(IIIII) er nået, når håndtaget drejes med
uret og “klikker over”.
Regulatorens min-indstilling (I) er nået,
når håndtaget ikke kan drejes længere
mod uret.
Regulatorens indstilling kan aflæses på
håndtagets to skalaer (fig. 8).
Sammenhænget mellem skalaerne og
det indstillede differenstryk fremgår af
indstillingsskalaen, fig. 3 eller 4. Indstil-
lingskalaens værdier er vejledende.
En nøjagtig indstilling kan aflæses med
to manometre. Ét monteret hvor impuls-
ledningen er tilsluttet fremløbs-
ledningen, og ét monteret i strømnings-
retningen umiddelbart før regulatoren.
Indstillingen kan plomberes (fig. 9).
Fejlfinding
Hvis regulatoren ikke fungerer efter
hensigten, bør det kontrolleres om ven-
tilhus og impulsledning er monteret
korrekt, samt om impulsledningens
tilslutninger er tilstoppede.
Service
Der må ikke være tryk på anlægget når
regulatoren adskilles. Derfor skal
forbindelserne til regulatoren afbrydes
ved service.

AVPB is a self-acting PN 16 or PN 25
differential pressure control and flow
limiter on which the differential pressure
can be set and the flow can be limited
by means of the built-in restrictor.
AVPB-F is a self-acting PN 16
differential pressure control and flow
limiter with fixed differential pressure
and flow limitation by means of the
built-in restrictor.
Fitting
The control can be fitted in any position.
The control valve body must be fitted in
the heating system return with flow in
the direction of the arrow (fig. 6). It is
recommended that a Danfoss strainer
type FV be inserted on the flow line
(figs. 1 and 2).
The positive lead of the control is a 6
mm copper impulse tube (the negative
lead is integrated in the control).
The impulse tube must be fitted on the
top side of the flow line to prevent
impurities from flowing into the impulse
tube. To make fitting easier the control
can be separated by loosening the
union nut between valve and diaphragm
(fig. 6) There must be no pressure on
the system when separating valve body
and handle.
Starting
Open the shut-off cock on the flow line
gradually before opening the shut-off
cock on the return line.
Pressure testing
When pressure testing the system,
make sure that the impulse tube is
connected and any needle valves are
opened.
Max. test pressure: PN 16 = 25 bar,
PN 25 = 40 bar.
Flow limitation
On AVPB the control must be set on
required differential pressure (fig. 8)
before unscrewing the top cap (fig. 10).
All district heating connections and
bypass, if any, must be open to achieve
max. flow. Use a 3 mm hexagon
spanner for turning the adjustment
screw clockwise (fig. 11) until the screw
cannot be turned any further (min. flow).
The flow can be coarsely adjusted by
turning the adjustment screw counter-
clockwise the number of turns
necessary to reach the required flow, as
shown on the setting diagram (fig. 13).
The flow in the diagram is shown at a
differential pressure of 0.2 bar across
the restrictor.
Note: So pressure drop across the
remaining system must be added to the
0.2 bar to achieve the required flow
limitation.
Finally tighten the locknut before
replacing the top cap. The limitation can
be sealed (fig. 12).
