Thank you for buying HeliArtist Products.500 scale fuselage is designed as an easy way to
assembly. Please read this instruction manual carefully before assembling the model,and
follow all precautions and recommendations in the manual.Make sure to retain the manual for
future reference,routine maintenance,and tuning.This scale fuselage is designed for T-REX 500
Helicopter series.You can easily put it on your T-REX 500 for new clothing.

R/C helicopters are not toys.R/C helicopter utilize various high-tech products and technologies
to provide superior performance.Improper use of this product can result in serious injury or
even death.Please read this manual carefully before using and make sure to be conscious of
your personal safety and the safety of others and your environment when operating all
HeliArtist products.
Manufacturer and seller assume no liability for the operation or the use of this product.Intended
usage of this fuselage is only for adults with experience of flying remote control helicopters at
legal flying field.After the sale of this product we cannot maintain any control over its operation
or usage.
After assembling the scale fuselage,the weight will increase and the structure will become more
complex,so we do not recommmend to have any 3D fly as to avoid any accident and damage.
R/C products require a certain degree of skill to operate,and is a consumables item.Any
damage or dissatisfaction as a result of accidents or modifications are not covered by any
warranty and cannot be returned for repair or experience problems during operation or
maintenance.
Fly only in safe areas,away from other people.Do not operate R/C aircraft within the vicinity of
homes or crowds of people.R/C aircraft are prone to accidents,failures,and crashes due to a
variety of reasons including lack of maintenance,pilot error,and radio interference.Pilots are
responsible for their actions and damage or injury happened during the operation or as a result
of R/C aircraft models.

500 scale fuselages are suitable for T-REX500 Helicopter series.
BEFORE ASSEMBLING
1:Check for all parts in the part list shown at bellow.
2:Some basic tools are needed to help the assembly.

Install two Retract systems to the back landing hole on
the fuselage using 8x Self-Lock Screw 2x8mm. (Drill 8
1.5mm holes before securing the Retract system.)
Install the other Retract system to the front landing
gear hole on the fuselage using 4x Self-Lock Screw
2x8mm. (Drill 4 1.5mm holes before securing the
Retract System.)
Twist Ball-linkages to the Linkage Rods. Secure the Ball-Linkage to the Retract System using
M2x8mm Screw.
Install two Screw-Lock Pushrod Connectors on the
servo horn and insert the Linkage Rods into the Screw-
Lock Pushrod Connectors and secure it by Nut screw.
Secure the Ball-linkage to the front retract system
using a M2x8mm Screw.

Glue the Servo Mount Frame to the fuselage to
install the servo. Install the Screw-Lock Pushrod
Connector to the servo horn and insert the Linkage
into it.
Take off the Tail Cover from the fuselage.
Take off the tail assembly from the heli mechanism. Glue the wood pieces together according to the
above photo.(Remarks: the height of the wood
block is depend on what heli you use.)
Fix the Wood Block to the Heli Mechanism use CA
glue temporarily. Insert the Heli Mechanism into the fuselage.

Assembly the Tail assembly back to the heli
mechanism.
Assembly the Tail Cover back to the fuselage.
Align the Landing Gear Holes of the heli mechanism
to the fuselage and drill four 2mm holes on the
fuselage. Secure the Heli Mechanism to the fuselage
using M2x25mm Screws, washers and M2 Nuts.
Cut the Upper Window Covers and glue it to the
fuselage.
Secure the front window cover to the fuselage with
four 2x5mm Self-Lock Screw. (Drill four 1mm holes
before secure the front window cover with screw.)
Insert the Tail Bear Rod into the hole on the tail of the
fuselage and secure it with epoxy or CA glue.

Secure the Horizontal Fins to the fuselage use
epoxy.
