Optical :
Never point the optical sensor towards the face,
particularly the eyes, to avoid possible injury.
Wireless Devices:
• Before boarding any aircraft or packing a wireless device in
luggage that will be checked in, remove the batteries from the
wireless device.
• Wireless devices can transmit radio frequency (RF) energy,
whenever batteries are installed and the wireless device is
turned on.
Battery-Powered Devices:
Improper use of batteries may result in battery uid leakage,
overheating, or explosion.

While the mouse is in use, the optical light is visible to the naked eye.

Installing the Battery
Remove the battery cover and
insert 1 x AA battery. Ensure
battery is inserted with the
correct polarities. Close the
battery cover.
ON OFF
• Please ensure the battery’s polarities(+/—) match the battery
compartment’s polarities.
• To save energy, slide the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position to turn
o the mouse.

Basic Operation
Powering On/O
Slide the ON/OFF switch at the bottom of the mouse to
turn the mouse on or o.
When switching on the unit, the LED indicator will light up for 2
sec in 2.4GHz Wireless mode or 4 sec in Bluetooth® mode.
Selecting Mode
Press and hold the DPI button for 3 sec to switch between
2.4GHz Wireless and Bluetooth® modes.
When 2.4GHz Wireless mode is selected, LED indicator will
light up for 2 sec.
When Bluetooth® mode is selected, LED indicator will light
up for 4 sec.
Selecting DPI (Dot per Inch)
Press the DPI button to select sensitivity 1000 (less
sensitive) or 1600 (more sensitive).
If DPI 1000 is selected, the LED indicator will slow ash 3 times.
If DPI 1600 is selected, the LED indicator will quick ash 5 times.
Replacing Battery
LED indicator will ash when battery is low.

Connecting in 2.4GHz Wireless Mode
Plug the dongle directly into your Bluetooth® device USB
port. It will install a mouse driver. You need both for your
mouse to function properly. The dongle can be found in the
battery compartment.
Automatic Pairing
Slide the ON/OFF switch to ON and select 2.4GHz Wireless
mode, the mouse will automatically activate. This could
take a few seconds.
Manual Pairing
If automatic pairing fails, pair the dongle with the mouse
manually.
1. Remove the dongle from your Bluetooth® device USB
port.
2. Press the
button at the bottom of the mouse. The
mouse will enter the pairing mode and the LED indicator
will ash quickly.
3. Plug the dongle into the USB port within 20 sec.
4. After successfully connecting in 2.4GHz Wireless mode,
the LED indicator light will extinguish.

Connecting in Bluetooth® Mode
1. You must have a Bluetooth® device to work with this
mouse.
2. On the mouse, slide the ON/OFF switch to ON and select
Bluetooth® mode.
3. Press and hold the
button, the LED indicator light will
ash.
4. The mouse is now in pairing mode and will last for 120
seconds.
5. Switch on your Bluetooth® device, and turn on
the device’s wireless function to connect by using
Bluetooth® technology.
6. On your device, search for a mouse with Bluetooth®
technology. Select the mouse named “SMBT14
Bluetooth Mouse”. You will be asked to type in a code
0000 or 1234.
7. Your mouse is now paired with your device.

Hints and Tips
Mouse Not Working:
• Check the battery is installed correctly. Replace it if
necessary.
• Ensure the mouse is switched on using the ON/OFF
switch on the unit’s underside.
• Ensure your Windows® platform supports input device
(e.g. Mouse and keyboards), and is the latest version.
• If the mouse is moving erratically, change the working
surface the mouse is operating on.
• The mouse may not work smoothly on white paper and
glass surfaces. We recommend using mouse pad.
In Bluetooth® mode:
• Ensure you are in Bluetooth® mode.
• Ensure you have pressed the mouse’s connection.
• Ensure your computers wireless devices with Bluetooth®
technology function is active.
• Ensure no other wireless devices are in discovery mode.
In Wireless mode:
• Ensure you are in 2.4 GHz Wireless mode.
• Make sure the dongle is fully plugged into a USB port
and the computer is on or try the dongle in a dierent
USB port.
• If mouse performance is slow or intermittent around a
wireless network, unplug the dongle from the USB port
and then reinsert it. To reactivate the mouse, switch it
