SECURE DATA SYSTEM

For network-capable sensors and machines, SICK provides the corresponding IoT gateways to ensure

encrypted transmission of data to a server. You have the choice between on-premise data storage at your

own site or external, off-premise data storage on a server hosted by SICK in Germany. This is how you get

a system architecture that is completely reliable.

tasks in the framework of your service contract. We not

only monitor devices from the SICK product range, but

also integrate third-party devices into the Monitoring Box.

SIMPLE IMPLEMENTATION

When you have decided which sensors your Monitoring Box should monitor, there are

just a few steps to take to get a comprehensive digital overview.

You get e-mail alerts if there are error

messages, status changes or overshoot-

ing of limit values, meaning you can react

quicker and easier.

You register with your SICK ID and,

depending on the device basis, select

the Monitoring App to start condition

monitoring.

A SICK service employee installs and

activates the gateway. Your devices are

connected and data transmission begins.

Prediction of machine and system events

As soon as the Monitoring Box has detected enough

data, you can analyze it and use it for prediction purpos-

es. With mathematical models and machine learning

algorithms, the Monitoring Box enables prediction of

machine and system events and detects deviations from

target values.
