OPERATING CONTROLS OF BASE (see figure 1.1)
1. Indicator Light – Red light indicates that power is on; Green
light indicates that headphones are being recharged.
2. Power ON/OFF (Channel 1/2) Switch -- This switch turns on the
power and chooses one of two transmission channels.
Note: Base and headphones must be set to the same channel.
3. Charge Socket – With rechargeable batteries installed inside, the
headphones are placed in the base and the charge prongs on the left
earpiece should be inserted into this Charge Socket. The batteries
are then automatically recharged and the Green Indicator light on
the base turns on.
4. Left/Right Audio Input Jacks – Plug the Dual RCA Cable to
these Audio Input Jacks in accordance with colour codes. Connect
the other end of the Dual RCA Cable to the audio output jacks of
an audio source (TV or other audio equipment). Use the “Y”
adapter cable whenever necessary.
5. Power Input Jack – Connect the output plug of the Power
Adapter to this Input Jack.
6. Battery Compartment -- located at the bottom side of base. If
Power Adapter is not used, 4 “AA” batteries (not included) can be
installed in this Battery Compartment..
OPERATING CONTROLS OF HEADPHONES (see figure 1.2)
7. Power Indicator Light – When this red light turns on, power is
on and is supplied to the headphones.
8. Stereo Indicator Light – When this green light turns on,
headphones are playing stereo sound.
9. Channel 1/2 Switch -- This switch chooses one of two channels
of the base that the headphones will receive signals from.
Note: Base and headphones must be set to the same channel.
10. Volume Control Wheel - Turn this wheel to adjust volume of
headphones.
11. Charge Prongs – when headphones are placed in the base, these
Charge Prongs must be connected to the Charge Socket (See Fig
1.1, Item 3), so that the headphones can be charged.
12. Power ON/OFF Switch - Turn this switch to the ON position to
use the headphones and to the OFF position when the headphones
are not in use.
13. Battery Compartment – Slide to open the lid and insert 2 “AA”
rechargeable batteries into the compartment according to polarity
marked inside. Then close the lid.
Base Hookup
A. (Option 1) Place 4 “AA” batteries inside the compartment at the
bottom of the base.
(Option 2) Plug the power adaptor to a mains socket and
connect its output plug to the
Power Input Jack of the base.
B. Connect the base to an audio source (see Fig 1.3)
1. Connect one end of the Dual RCA Cable to left and right audio
output jacks of an audio source.
Note: If there are no fixed-level audio outputs on the audio source,
connect the Dual RCA Cable to variable (HI-FI) audio outputs, or
refer to Section C for connecting instructions of “Y” Adapter Cable.
Warning: Do not connect the Dual RCA Cable to the speaker
terminals of TV or audio equipment. This may damage the base

and/ or the audio source.
2. Connect the other end of the Dual RCA Cable to the Left/Right
Audio Input Jacks on the base.
C. If no audio output jacks are available from the audio source,
connect to the 1/8” headphone jack using the “Y” Adapter Cable
(included) and Dual RCA Cable (included) together (see Fig 1.4)
1. Connect the Dual RCA Cable to the “Y” Adapter Cable
according to colour codes: left (white) & right (red).
2. Connect the 1/8” headphone plug of the “Y” Adapter Cable to
the headphone input jack of the audio source. If the audio source
requires a different type of headphone plug, an additional adaptor
plug (not included) will be required.
3. Connect the other end of the DUAL RCA Cable to the
Left/Right Audio Input Jacks at the rear of the base.

OPERATION
A. Operation and Adjustment of Base
1. Turn on the audio source (TV or audio equipment) to which the
base is connected.
NOTE: If the base is connected to the variable audio outputs, adjust
the volume of the audio source to appropriate level first. If the
base is connected to fixed-level audio outputs, no volume
adjustment is needed.
2. Turn the Power ON/OFF (channel) switch to channel 1 or 2
(same as the channel selected on the headphones).
B. Operation and Adjustment of Headphones
1. Make sure 2 “AA” rechargeable batteries have been inserted in
the headphone battery compartment and they are charged up.
2. Turn Power ON/OFF Switch to the On position and the Red
Power Indicator Light turns on.
3. Set the Channel 1/2 Switch to match the channel selected on the
base. Stay 10-15 ft. away from the base.
4. Place headphones over ears and adjust the volume to desired
level.
Note: In case of signal interference, change the channel selection
on both headphones and base.
TO PRESERVE BATTERIES, SWITCH OFF BOTH
HEADPHONES AND BASE WHENEVER THEY ARE NOT
USED.
SPECIFICATIONS OF POWER ADAPTER:
Input: 230 V AC 50~60 Hz
Output: 9V DC 300mA
CARE
Keep the base and headphones dry.
DO NOT drop. Handle the headphones and base carefully.
DO NOT use or store the headphones and base in extreme
temperatures.
Remove batteries when not in use for a long period of time.
DO NOT modify or tamper with any components inside
headphones and/or base. Doing so will void the warranty.
TROUBLE-SHOOTING
No Sound
Make sure the Power ON/OFF Switch on both headphones and
base are in the ON position

The battery level of headphones may be running low. Recharge
the headphones or replace rechargeable batteries.
Ensure that both headphones and base are set to the same
channel.
If a power adapter is used for supply of power to the base,
make sure the power adapter is firmly plugged into the mains
socket and its output plug is fully inserted into the Power Input
Jack of the base. Specifications of power adapter must comply
with requirements.
If batteries are used for supply of power to the base, battery
level may be too low. Replace batteries.
Make sure the audio source (TV or audio equipment) is
switched on and there are audio outputs.
If the variable audio outputs of an audio source are used, ensure
that the volume of the audio source is turned to an appropriate
level.
If the Green Stereo Indicator Light on the headphones is off,
change to another channel on both base and headphones.
Adjust the Volume Control Wheel on the headphones to
increase volume.
Audio Distortion
Ensure that the Green Stereo Indicator Light on the headphones
is on. If not, change to another channel on both base and
headphones.
The battery level of headphones may be running low. Recharge
the headphones or replace rechargeable batteries.
