AX700 is an automatic standby amplifier changeover unit which would provide auto surveillance setup for duty pa amplifiers.
It serves 6 duty amplifiers with one standby, with the ability to cascade to allow a single standby amplifier to serve more than
seven or more duty units. Reliability and durability is main concern and thereby we incorporate protection circuitries such as
priority changeover and standby amplifier overloading prevention.
Though it is rather simple in the installation works, a brief read throuh the manual is recommended and we are confident

The 6 green LED which lits indicates that the duty amplifiers are in good condition.
The red LED when lits indicate that the corresponding duty amplifier is faulty and its load has been taken over by the
standby unit. If more than 2 LED lit, the one with higher amplifier numbering would have priority to the standby unit.
At any one time, the standby amplifier is only allowed to serve a failed duty amp.
In the event that the standby amplifier is faulty, this LED would indicate its status in red colour.
Whenever a switchover takes place or duty amplifier/line fault is detected, an audible buzzer would sound with LED
indicator lit. The audio alarm can be switched off but the LED would remain until the fault is removed.
24V DC regulated supply is recommended as power source, eg . Amperes PS301S. Please observe polarity when
connecting.
Amperes AS4000 auto surveillance module is linked to this port (up to 6 units). If other detection module is to be
employed, please consult our technical department for details.

Standby amplifier is terminated to this terminal. Correct polarity must be observed, otherwise would cause severe
damages to your amplifiers as well as the changeover unit.
If more than one AX700 is to be used (ie. 1 standby to serve more than 6 duty amplifiers), link all the AX700 using
this port.

Note:
Some amplifiers may have fault detection features built in, such as QP2000 Series. Using AX700 for changeover may be
optional as the amplifier has built in changeover system, which simplifies cabling works.
Whereas if AX700 is required to perform the changeover, QP2000 has fault relay contact which can be linked to AX700 for
auto fault changeover setup.

APPLICATION USING AMPLIFIER FAULT DETECTION MODULE ( AS4000 )
Note:
The above illustration uses AS4000 alongside with power amplifiers that do not have built in fault detection feature such
as PA2000 series or any other similar brands.
AS4000 shall be used to perform fault monitoring task at the individual power pack and upon failure detection, a dry contact
shall be initiated and linked to AX700.
The changeover shall take place accordingly to ensure uninterrupted operation of the system.

master distributor, TNT Links Sdn Bhd / MyPA Systems Sdn Bhd. This warranty is not valid if repairs are
performed by unauthorized personnel or service centres.
This warranty covers only repairs and replacement of defective parts ; cost and risks of transportation as well as
removal and installation of the product from the main system are for the account of the purchaser. This warranty
shall not extend to the replacement of the unit.
This warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, neglect, accident of the product as well as using the
product with power supply voltage other than shown on the product, or any other power supply source / adaptor
not recommended by the manufacturer.
This warranty does not cover damages caused by fire, earthquakes, floods, lightning and every cause not directly
related to the unit.
This warranty does not include any indemnity in favor of the purchaser or the dealer for the period out of use of the
unit; moreover the warranty does not cover any damages which may be caused to people and things when using

This warranty certificate is valid only for the described product, and is not valid if modifications are made on this
certificate or on the identification label applied on the product.
This warranty covers all the material and manufacturing defects and is valid for a period of 12 months from the
date of purchase or for a longer period in countries where this is stated by a national law. In this case, the
extension is valid only in the country where the product is purchased.

design changes or improvements are made.
