SUFFOCATION HAZARD - Infants can suffocate:
» in gaps between an extra pad and the side of the bassinet,
» on soft bedding.
NEVER add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or padding. Use ONLY the pad
and/or bedding provided by the manufacturer. If a sheet is used with the pad, use only the one provided with the
bassinet or one that is from Badger Basket Company or one that is specifically designed to fit the dimension of the
the mattress provided.
• TO REDUCE THE RISK OF SIDS: pediatricians recommend that healthy infants be placed on their backs to
sleep, unless otherwise advised by your physician.
• DO NOT move or carry the bassinet with your baby inside of it.
• DO NOT allow other children or pets to climb into or onto the bassinet when your infant is inside.
• DO NOT attach or place toys with strings in or around the basket. Strings can cause strangulation or choking.
• Keep bassinet away from stoves, heaters, camp fires/flames, fireplaces, stairs, open windows, window blinds,
running or standing water, and any other hazard which could cause injury to your baby.
NEVER use plastic bags inside the basket such as to cover the mattress.
Bassinet should always be placed on a firm, flat surface. It should never be placed near stairs or on tables or
elevated surfaces.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS before use of this product. Keep instructions for future use. Product and/or
hardware may include small parts or screws with sharp points.
Choking Hazard! Keep unassembled parts out of the reach of small children. Use only the parts and hardware
provided by Badger Basket.
• Do not use the bassinet if it is damaged or broken.
• Periodically check to make sure all the bolts and screws remain tight.
FALL HAZARD: To help prevent falls, please note this bassinet is a safe place for your
newborn to sleep until Baby is 4 months old, 20 lbs. (9.09 kg), OR when Baby can push
up, roll over, or crawl - whichever limit comes first.

USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Wipe the wood/MDF parts clean with a damp cloth and mild soap as needed.
Spot clean basket as needed. Bedding Set can be machine washed on cold,
gentle cycle; tumble dry low or no heat.

STEP 1: See PICTURE 1. Take ONE END PANEL (A)
and attach the FOUR RAILS (B) using FOUR BOLTS
(C).
Attach the rails to the INSIDE FACE of the END
PANEL. The inside face has countersunk areas for the
rails and slots that you will use later for the mesh basket.
Position the bottom rails with the grooves facing
up; and position the top rails with the grooves facing
down.
Slip the TWO NYLON SNAP STRAPS (D) over
the TOP RAILS (B). Position them so that they are ready
to snap to the snaps on the bassinet body (H).
STEP 2: See PICTURE 2. Attach the second END
PANEL (A) to the FOUR RAILS (B) using FOUR BOLTS
(C).
STEP 3: See PICTURES 3A and 3B. Turn the bassinet
stand upside down.
Insert the TWO DOWELS (E) through the edge
pockets of the MESH BASKET (F). Insert the ends of
the ONE DOWEL (E) into the SLOTS cut into the inside
faces of the END PANELS (A). Stretch the mesh basket
over the rails and around to the other side, and insert the
second wood dowel into the dowel slots. Adjust the mesh
basket to remove wrinkles.
Attach the FOUR CASTER WHEELS (G) to the
corners of the end panels using one BOLT and one KNOB
for each WHEEL. The knobs go on the inside.

STEP 4: See PICTURES 4A and 4B. Turn the bassinet
stand over.
Fit the slots on the BASSINET BODY (H) over the
raised edge pieces on the top of the END PANELS (A).
See PICTURE 4A.
Next, snap the NYLON SNAP STRAPS (D) onto
the snaps on the bottom edge of the BASSINET BODY
(H). See PICTURE 4B.

STEP 5: Unpack the
BEDDING SET (I). You
may launder the set be-
fore use if you wish,
and/or iron, press, or
steam it to remove
wrinkles. Machine wash
cold, gentle cycle only;
air dry or tumble dry
low or no heat. Iron on
lowest setting for poly/
cotton.
Locate the buttonholes
on the FABRIC LINER
and slip them over the
spools on the BASSI-
NET BODY (H).
Smooth the liner around
the sides and bottom in-
side the bassinet, and adjust it around the outside of the bassinet.
Put the SHEET onto the MATTRESS PAD (J) and place
the mattress pad into the bassinet.
Snap together the HOOD HOOP FRAME (K) as shown
in PICTURE 5. Stretch the fabric HOOD over the FRAME and
slip the elastic loops over the ends of the frame to hold the hood
in place. Snap the FRAME (K) onto the spools on the BASSI-
NET BODY (H).
The bassinet is now ready for your baby! See PICTURE 6.

To use the bassinet as a Rocking Cradle,
loosen the caster knobs, rotate the casters
into the up position, and retighten the knobs.
See PICTURE 7.
STEP A: Remove the bedding, bassinet body,
hood, wooden dowels, and mesh basket, and
set them aside.
STEP B: Unscrew and remove all four of the
bolts holding the TOP RAILS and set aside
the screws, rails, and nylon snap straps.
STEP C: Insert the two larger SIDE PAN-
ELS (L) into the grooves on the bottom rails
with the white sides facing out.
STEP D: Re-attach the TOP RAILS using
the four screws making sure the side panels
are seated into the grooves.
STEP E: Place the bottom panel (L) inside
the stand resting on the bottom rails with the
white side facing up.
STEP F: Store the bassinet body, bedding
set, hood hoop frame, wooden dowels, mesh
basket, mattress pad, and nylon snap straps
for future use.
