CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Wipe bassinet and vinyl/foam pad clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent as
needed. Bedding can be machine washed on cold, gentle cycle, and air dried or
tumble dry on low or no heat. Iron on lowest setting for polyester/cotton.
Secure any hook-and-loop tape tabs together before washing so they do not
catch on the bedding or ribbons.

SUFFOCATION HAZARD - Infants can suffocate:
» in gaps between an extra pad and the side of the bassinet,
» on soft bedding.
NEVER add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or padding. Use ONLY the pad and/or bedding provided by the
manufacturer. If a sheet is used with the pad, use only the one provided with the bassinet or one that is from Badger
Basket Company or one that is specically designed to t the dimension of the the mattress provided. ALWAYS use
a sheet that ts securely on the mattress and wraps around the mattress corners. Only a tted sheet, mattress pad
and/or waterproof pad should be used under the baby.
Use ONLY the bedding designed for this bassinet from Badger Basket Company. Secure the liner/cover as
instructed in this manual and check regularly to ensure it remains tied.
• READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS before use of this product.

Use only the parts and hardware provided by Badger Basket.
• Hardware may include small parts. Choking Hazard! Keep unassembled parts out of the reach of small children.
Do not use the product if it is damaged, broken, torn, or missing parts.
• TO REDUCE THE RISK OF SIDS: pediatricians recommend that healthy infants be placed on their backs to
sleep, unless otherwise advised by your physician.
• DO NOT move or carry the bassinet with your baby inside of it.
• DO NOT allow other children or pets to climb or lean into or onto the bassinet when your infant is inside.
• DO NOT attach or place toys with strings in or around the bassinet. Strings can cause strangulation or choking.
• Keep bassinet away from stoves, heaters, camp res/ames, replaces, stairs, open windows, running or standing
water, and any other hazard which could cause injury to your baby.
Be sure that your baby’s sleep space is a safe distance from windows and any curtains, shades, blinds, or window
coverings or decorations that may pose a danger from dangling or loose fabrics and cords.
NEVER use plastic bags inside the basket such as to cover the mattress.
Bassinet should always be placed on a rm, at surface. It should never be placed near stairs or on tables or elevated
surfaces.
• No product is a replacement for adult supervision.
• DO NOT allow anyone to climb, stand on, or play on or inside of this product. It is not a step stool or ladder.
• BE AWARE of what items are in the area around the bassinet that your child can reach, grab, or pull that could be
a choking, electrical, strangulation, injury, or other type of hazard.
• DO NOT make adjustments to the bassinet while child is inside.
• NEVER place the bassinet near re or open ame nor other sources of intense heat.
• NEVER place infants to sleep on pillows, sofa cushions, adult beds, waterbeds, beanbags, or any other surface not
specically designed for infant sleep.
• Remove pillows, sheepskins, pillow-like stuffed toys and products not intended as infant bedding from the bassinet
when your infant is sleeping.
• Do not overdress your baby. Cover the baby with a thin covering, such as a crib blanket, receiving blanket or other
blanket specically designed for infants, which covers only up to the baby’s chest, and tuck the covering around the
mattress. For newborns, consider swaddling. Consider using a wearable blanket.
• Check periodically for loose threads or stitching which could cause gagging or choking.

TIP:ATTACHING THE MESH BASKET MAY BE EASIER IF YOU TURN THE BASSINET STAND UPSIDE DOWN.
SLIDE THE DOWELS THROUGH THE POCKETS ON THE EDGES OF THE MESH BASKET.·
THEN INSERT ONE OF THE DOWELS INTO THE SLOTS CUT ON THE INSIDE FACES OF THE END PANELS.·
STRETCH THE MESH BASKET AROUND THE BOTTOM RAILS TO THE OTHER SIDE;AND INSERT THE SECOND DOWEL INTO THE SLOTS.·
ADJUST THE MESH BASKET TO REMOVE WRINKLES.·
NOTE: TO USE THE BASSINET AS A ROCKING CRADLE, LOOSEN THE CASTER KNOBS, ROTATE THE CASTERS INTO THE UP POSITION, ·
AND RETIGHTEN THE KNOBS SECURELY.
NOTE: FOLLOW STEPS 4, 5,AND 6 TO ASSEMBLE THE BASE AS A TOYBOX.
IF YOU ARE NOT CONVERTING THE BASE TO A TOYBOX AT THIS TIME, SKIP THESE STEPS AND GO ·
TO STEP 7.
· IF YOU ARE FOLLOWING THESE STEPS AFTER HAVING USED THE BASE WITH THE BASSINET AND
THE MESH BASKET, YOU WILL NEED TO FIRST UNSNAP AND REMOVE THE TOP/BASSINET BODY .
· NEXT, REMOVE THE TWO DOWELS AND THE MESH BASKET.
· THEN REMOVE ONE PANEL(PART A).
· YOU MAY REMOVE THE WHEELS, WHEEL KNOBS,AND WHEEL BOLTS IF DESIRED.
· RETAIN ALL UNUSED PARTS IN A SAFE PLACE FOR FUTURE USE. IF YOU LOSE ANY PARTS AND NEED TO
PURCHASE REPLACEMENTS, YOU WILL NEED THE MODEL NUMBER, VERSION CODE, AND DATE OF
MANUFACTURE OF THE ITEM. SO PLEASE RETAIN THIS ASSEMBLY MANUAL AND DO NOT REMOVE ANY
LABELING FROM THE PRODUCT.

ROTATE THE SIDE FRAME SUPPORT BARS AROUND
BENEATH THE BASSINET BODY (PART P)
LOCATE THE FRAME SUPPORT FLANGES ON THE BOTTOM OF THE
BASSINET BODY (PART P).
SECURE THE FRAME SUPPORT BARS BENEATH THE FLANGES.
BE SURE THE BARS ARE SNAPPED IN SECURELY.
IT IS HELPFUL TO PUSH ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BASSINET BODY
FROM INSIDE TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR THE BARS SNAP IN.
THE FABRIC ON THE BASSINET BODY SHOULD BE TIGHT AND
TAUT WHEN THE FRAME SUPPORT BARS ARE PROPERLY IN PLACE.

THREAD THE CANOPY HOOP WITH HINGES (PART L1)
THROUGH THE LARGE POCKET ON THE FABRIC CANOPY
(PART K).
THREAD THE CANOPY SUPPORT HOOP (PART L2) THROUGH
THE SMALL POCKET ON THE FABRIC CANOPY AND SECURE
THE GRIP TAPE AT BOTH SIDES OF THE POCKET TO KEEP IT
IN PLACE.

SNAP THE CANOPY HOOP WITH HINGES
(PART L1) INTO THE CANOPY POCKETS ON
THE BASSINET BODY (PART P).
PUSH DOWN TO SNAP SECURELY IN PLACE.
ADJUST CANOPY POSITION AS NEEDED. IT
CAN BE FULLY OPEN, FOLDED FLAT, OR MANY
POSITIONS IN BETWEEN.

SECURE THE BASSINET BODY TO THE ASSEMBLED BASE.
FIT THE SLOTS ON THE BOTTOM OF BASSINET BODY
(PART P) OVER THE POSTS ON THE BASE.
THEN SNAP THE STRAPS ON THE BASSINET BODY TO
THE SNAPS ON THE TOP RAILS (PART J).
THE BASSINET BODY CAN BE UNSNAPPED AT ANY
TIME TO USE AS A PORTABLE BED.
NEVER USE THE BED IN THE CAR! IT IS NOT A CAR SEAT!

NOTE: DRESS THE LINER/SKIRT ONTO THE ASSEMBLED BODY/FRAME UNIT WITH THE CORRECT SIDE FACING
OUT SO THAT YOU CAN SECURE THE GRIP TABS AROUND THE CANOPY POSTS.
PUT THE FITTED SHEET OVER THE PAD AND PLACE THEM INSIDE THE BASSINET.
FOR MODEL 00620: ALSO SECURE THE ADDITIONAL TABS KEEP THE EDGES OF THE SKIRT TOGETHER.
