Product Overview
Husky's Heavy Duty 45-Degree Flaring Tool Set creates precision flares in copper,
brass and aluminum tubing from 3/16 in. to 5/8 in. O.D. The feed screw design
provides smooth and easy operation. Simply use a screwdriver or lever to tighten
the wingnuts as tight as possible when making flares to ensure proper clamping force.
Boasting a nickel, chrome-plated construction with a satin finish, this tool set is covered
by the Husky lifetime warranty.
1. Loose both wing nuts on the flaring tool bar and separate the bars.
2. Insert the tubing into the proper size hole and close the flaring bars. Do not tighten the
wing nuts securely until the tubing end is slightly above the top suface of the flaring
bar (approximately 1/8in). Tighten the wing nuts.
3. Slip the yoke onto the flaring tool bar and then position the yoke the end if the tube.
4. Turn the yoke handle to flare the tube end. A flare is complete when the yoke handle
cannot be turned anymore.
5. Loose the yoke handle. Remove the yoke from the bars and loose both wing nuts before
attempting to remove the tubing.
