Electric Table Blender with Grinder

Welcome!

Thank you for purchasing the blender SY-BV7. In order to fully benefit from this product, please follow the

instructions in this manual carefully. Store the user manual in a safe place for future reference.

Important Safeguards

When using the electrical appliance, the below basic safety precautions should be followed:

 Read all instructions.

 Before using check that the voltage power corresponds to the one shown on the appliance rating label.

 Do not place the cord over sharp edges or leave it hanging over the edge of a table

 Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. Do not use the appliance if it does not function

properly or has been damaged in any way. Contact Sytech Service Centre for any queries.

 If the supply cord is damaged, contact Sytech Service Centre for reparation. Never try to fix the appliance

by yourself.

 Never let children use the appliance by themselves. It is not recommended for children to use this

appliance, however if used by a child, supervision is obligatory.

 Always be careful when handling the appliance. This appliance contains moving parts; wait till all the

moving parts are still before manipulating.

 This appliance contains blades which are sharp. Handle with care during use.

 Any attachment which is not supplied with the blender must not be used as it may cause fire, electric

shock or personal injuries.

 Do not blend objects that are hard, this will damage the blades.

 Always turn off the appliance and wait for the moving parts to stop before getting in contact with the

appliance.

 Do not immerse the appliance in water or in any other liquids, the motor unit will stop functioning.

 This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or

mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or

instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.

 Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

 Do not use outdoors.

 Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.

 Do not misuse the appliance as it may cause injuries.

Before first use

Check that all the accessories are in the box and the unit is not damaged in any way. Then insert some water

into the jar and mix it

(see section “Using the SY-BV7”),

repeat this process 1 or 2 times then pour out the

water.

Clean the top cover, measuring cup, jar and grinder thoroughly with warm water or in the dishwasher.

Warning: the blade is sharp, handle with great care and ensure that the appliance is unplugged from the outlet

before assembling or removing parts.

Using the SY-BV7

 To attach the jug, place the jug on top of the motor unit and turn it clockwise (See fig.

1). Ensure that it is properly fitted before use. If the blender doesn’t start functioning,

it could mean that the jug is not well placed – remove it and assemble it once again.

 Always peel and remove the seeds from fruits or vegetables and cut them into small

pieces before inserting them into the blender. It is recommended to add a small

amount of water with the food to facilitate the blending process.

 Never exceed the maximum level as indicated on the jar.

 Place the top cover over the jar.

 When in use, you may insert food or any ingredient though the centre opening of the

top cover.

 Switch the plug into the wall outlet and select the desired speed (speed 1 or 2).

 To accelerate the process of blending you can set the speed to P (Pulse). See figure

2 below.

Release the button to stop.

 Do not operate the blender for more than 3 minutes consecutively.

 Once the mixture has been blended to your desired consistency, turn the speed selector to “0” position

 Turn anti-clockwise and remove the jar from the Motor unit, carefully remove the top cover and then the

contents can be poured and served.

How to use the Grinder

 Before using the grinder, always make sure the grinder jar is clean and dry. Assemble the grinder jar into

the body by rotating it clockwise until it is properly fixed.

 Gently hold the grinder jar when inserted into the body. Once the motor is turned on it will start

functioning.

 The grinder will start working only if the grinder jar is well inserted. If for any reason the grinder does not

work, please remove the grinder jar and reassemble before use. If the problem persists, contact Sytech

Service Centre.

 Never use the grinder for more than 60 seconds consecutively, this can burn the motor due to over

heating.

 Once the grinding process has been completed, always unplug the switch from the wall outlet before

disassembling. For this - turn anticlockwise to take the grinder out of the blender body.

Cleaning and Maintenance

The Auto Clean function can clean the blender and blades easily, rapidly and safely.

 Pour some warm soapy water into the jar and turn the Speed Selector to P position for a few seconds.

 Remove the jar and rinse under running water.

 Always wipe the outer surface of the motor unit with a moistened cloth, do not use any abrasive cleaners.

 Never immerse the motor unit in water for cleaning.

 Dry all parts thoroughly and place them back in their position.

 The blades can be disassembled for complete cleaning. Hold the blades carefully, (Warning: the blades are

sharp) take it out by turning the cup and the blades in opposite directions (see Fig 3). Then place the top

cover, measuring cup, the jar and blade assembly into the dishwasher for cleaning. These parts are all

dishwasher safe components. However make sure that the temperature setting of the dishwasher does not

exceed 60ºC

 If any problem has been encountered during use never disassemble the motor base by yourself, there are

no user serviceable parts inside. Contact Sytech Service Centre for any queries.

Note: When reinstalling the jar base and the jar, you should install them according to Figure 4.

1. Put the rubber seal ring around the cup support and place it on top of the jar base.

2. Then put the jar base around the bottom of the Jar

3. Finally align the bottom of the Jar with the Jar Base and turn in clock wise direction to lock them in.
