Before First Use
After unpacking the device you should clean the motor base and pitcher to ensure it is free
from any contaminants, (see below for further instructions). On first use of the Motor there may
be a small amount of smoke and/or odour that is caused by production residues and is normal
and harmless.
Operating Instructions
Ensure the control switch is in position ‘0’ (OFF) and that the blades are free from any
accidental contact before connecting to the mains supply.
The blender can be used to chop small solid ingredients (20-25mm in size) or to mix / stir liquid
type ingredients.
Put the desired ingredients for blending in the jug while detached from the base (anti-clockwise
turn). Make sure the volume is not in excess of 2/3 of the jug capacity. Always make sure there
is plenty of liquid in the jug to enable efficient blending.
Add the blender jug cover and central cover and turn tightly clockwise. Attach the assembled
blender jug to the appliance base and turn it tightly clockwise. The inner safety switch will then
be connected automatically. NOTE: The blender will not operate unless the jug is correctly
attached to the base.
Plug the supply cord plug into a suitable 230V ~ 50Hz power outlet socket and turn the control
switch to position ‘1’ for low speed or position ‘2’ for high speed and run the unit continuously
for 15-20 seconds. Check ingredients for consistency then Repeat the process if necessary.
Position ‘P’ is the pulse function and is used for short bursts at high speed. Turn and hold the
control switch to position ‘P’. The switch is spring loaded and will return to the ‘0’ (OFF) position
once the switch is released.
Turn the power off when the motor is not running, disassemble the blender jug and pour out
blended contents.
