Quick Guide Bluetooth Music Receiver WM-BT27
Compatible with the following models:
BMW: 1er (E81, E82, E87, E88), 3er (E90, E91, E92, E93), 5er (E60, E61), 6er (E63, E64), X5
(E70)
Only in combination with
o CCC Radio-navigation system
Connect the adapter:
1. Remove the radio.
2. The plug of the Bluetooth adapter WM-BT27 must now be inserted from the back of the
Quadlock plug into chamber C until it clicks into place. This should also work if the Quadlock
plug is still on the radio. If the cables are too short or if you can't see the rear of the plugs, you
can disconnect the Quadlock plug completely from the radio beforehand.
3. Now connect the black ground cable of the WM-BT27 either to the radio housing or to the
ground line leading to the radio. Without a good ground connection the function of the adapter is
not given.
4. Now connect the red cable (ignition plus +12V) to a switched +12V line. As this is usually
no longer available behind the radio, the voltage can be taken from the cigarette lighter or
the air conditioner (measurement with multimeter necessary). Ignition on = +12V on /
ignition off = 0V on.
5. Establish a Bluetooth connection by activating the Bluetooth search (pairing) and searching for
the Bluetooth device ``WM´´ . You should then set the volume on the connected device to full
volume.
6. Before reinstalling the radio, test the function of the adapter. Switch on the AUX function with
the Mode button or via the menu.
The AUX function must be enabled. If this is not the case, it must be enabled by a specialist
workshop.
