Note: The original Blue-Links earphone is specially made for DAB-378AP. We do not guarantee it works
perfectly with other brands of earphones.

ON / OFF: Switch on and switch off. Play or pause DAB+ or FM radio.
DAB / FM: To choose the DAB+ mode or FM mode. Save the favourite DAB+ radio station. Adjust the FM
frequency manually. Enter button.
LCD DisplayDisplay the name or frequency of the radio station (if available). Display time.
Previous ButtonScan for the available DAB+ or FM radio stations. Choose the previous DAB+ or FM radio
stations. Adjust FM frequency. Set the clock.
Next ButtonScan for the available DAB+ or FM radio stations. Choose the next DAB+ or FM stations. Adjust
FM frequency. Set the clock.
Volume +To increase the volume level, to increase the contrast of the LCD screen, to enter the favourite mode.
Volume - : To decrease the volume level, to decrease the contrast of the LCD screen, to lock and unlock the radio.

1. Switch on / off your radio
To switch your radio on:
Press the
ON/OFF
button once and the LCD screen displays “DAB”.
To switch your radio off:
Press and hold the
ON/OFF
button until the LCD screen displays “OFF”.
2. Scan the DAB+ radio stations
Auto scan:
For the first time, when you switch on the radio, the LCD screen will display the word “DAB”,
it will automatically scan for the DAB+ radio stations.
Manual scan:
In DAB+ radio mode press and hold the or for 2 seconds, the DAB+ radio station will
be scanned.
During scanning, the word “SCAN” will appear on the LCD screen, and the list of available station names
will be stored in the memory of your radio. When it is completed, the LCD screen will display the number
of the available DAB+ radio stations (eg. “FIND: 04”). After 5 seconds, it will play the last available radio
station. If no stations are found, the words “NO DAB” will appear on the LCD screen.

3. Listen to the DAB+ radio
When the scanning is completed, DAB-378AP radio will play the last available DAB+ radio station through
searching. Press the button to choose the previous station or press the button to choose the next
station. The name of the DAB+ radio station will appear on the LCD screen, (eg: “01DBC”). If the name of
the radio station could not be found, “CH X X” will show on the screen. (XX is a number.) .

4. Save your favourite list of the DAB+ radio stations.
If you listen to certain stations regularly, you can save these as your favourite stations. There are five
favourite lists that you can save. In DAB+ radio mode, press the or button to choose the station that
you want to save, press and hold the DAB/FM button for 2 seconds, the words “ SAVE TO FX?” will
appear on the LCD screen (X is a number, from 0 to 4), then press or to select the favourite list (F0-F4),
after that press the DAB/FM button once to complete the saving, the word “SAVED” will appear on the LCD
screen. Repeat these steps to save other favourites.
5. Play the favourite DAB+ radio station:
In DAB+ radio mode, press and hold the Volume + button for 2 seconds, to switch on the favourite mode,
the word “FAVOURITE” will appear on the screen and press the or button to choose the favourite
station.
6. Switch off the Favourite mode
In Favourite mode, press and hold the Volume + button for 2 seconds or restart the radio to switch off the
favourite mode.
Remark: For the first time or when you clear all the memory of the favourite list, it will display “FX
EMPTY” (X is a number, from 0 to 4) when the favourite lists are blank.

7. Pause or Play the DAB+ Radio
In DAB+ radio mode, press the
ON/OFF
button to pause the radio. Then, the clock will appear on the LCD
screen. It will be adjusted by the DAB+ radio station automatically. To resume the radio, press the
ON/OFF
button.
1 Listen to FM radio
In DAB+ mode, press the DAB/FM button to change to FM mode. The FM radio frequency will appear on
the LCD screen. The
RDS station name (if available) will be displayed on the LCD screen.

Choose the
FM saved radio stations
In FM mode, press the button for the previous saved station and press the button for the next saved
station.
3 Scan FM radio station
In FM radio mode, press and hold the or button for 2 seconds, and the radio will automatically scan the
available FM stations, and the word “SCAN” will appear on the LCD screen.
4 Manual Tune
In FM radio mode, press and hold the DAB/FM button for 2 seconds until the “FM” icon flashes on the LCD
screen, press the and buttons to adjust the radio frequency. Then press the DAB/FM button
immediately to save or wait for 10 seconds
to
save the frequency.
In the pause mode, the clock
displays on the LCD screen.

you can adjust the radio frequency

Pause or Play FM Radio
In FM radio mode, press the
ON/OFF
button to pause the radio. Then, the time will appear on the LCD
screen. To resume the radio, press the
ON/OFF
button again.
In DAB+ station mode, the clock is normally synchronized with the DAB+ stations. If the clock does not show the
correct time, follow the instructions below to adjust it:
When the radio is paused, press and hold the button for 2 seconds for setting the clock. When the hour display
starts flashing, press the button to adjust the hour. And then press the button to skip to set the minute. When
the minute starts flashing, press the button to adjust the minute. Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to
finish the setting.
To enable key-lock
Press and hold the Volume - button, the word “LOCKED” will scroll on the LCD screen.
To disable key-lock: Press and hold the Volume - button, the word “UNLOCK” will scroll on the LCD screen.

When the LCD displays the time, press the volume+ button to increase the contrast of the display, or press the
volume- button to decrease the contrast of the LCD display, the LCD will display “LCD X” ( X is the level of
contrast, from 0 to 3).
When the DAB-378AP radio is switch off, press and hold the DAB/FM button and the
ON/OFF
button at the same
time for about 10 seconds to delete all the previously saved radio stations. The LCD will display “Ver X” (X is a
number). When you switch on the radio again, it will automatically re-scan the new radio stations available.
LCD Contrast Setting

The level 3 is the highest
level of contrast of the
LCD display.

this message, all of the
previously saved radio stations
were deleted.

1. Do not listen at extremely high volumes. Doing so can damage your hearing.
2. Do not expose the radio to extremely high or low temperature.
3. Do not dispose the radio in a fire as it will result in an explosion.
4. Do not expose the radio to liquids, moisture or humidity as it is not waterproof.
5. Keep the radio away from sharp objects which will cause scratches and damages.
6. Do not attempt to take apart the radio as it does not contain replaceable components.
7. Do not store the radio in excessively dry, extremely temperature and dusty.
