Aux
Use the micro USB to 3.5mm aux cable to connect the speaker
through the micro USB charge/data port. Once the cable is
connected to the Cadet and your device, to enable aux mode:
1. With the Cadet in Bluetooth mode, press the Power/Mode button
2. If there isn’t a micro SD card in the Cadet, the Cadet will beep
twice and the LED will be solid red and blue indicating it is in
aux mode
3. If a micro SD card is in the Cadet, you will need to press the
Power/Mode button twice to get to aux mode
4. Once in aux mode, music played from your device will be
heard through the Cadet
Note:
Volume is controlled on both the Cadet and the device. The
Play/Pause button becomes a mute button. Play/Pause and
Next track/ Previous track functions can only be controlled
on the device.
PLEASE NOTE:
Your device will have an internal amplifier and if it is playing
digital files like MP3s it will also have an integrated DAC
(Digital Audio Converter). If you turn up the volume to 100%,
your device will be sending distorted signals to the Cadet.
To avoid this and to get the best sound quality from the speaker,
we recommend that you do not run your device any higher than
95% volume.
Hands-free (Bluetooth mode only)
When you have an incoming call, the music will pause and the
speaker will play a ring tone.
