Unpack the DMG 3200/3100/3000 from
the box and packaging materials it was
shipped in. Verify all of the following items
are present:
• DMG 3200/3100/3000 Digital Media Gateway
1x
or
or
1x
• Line Cord
1x for single power supply
or
2x for dual power supply
I
f any of these items are missing or damaged,
please contact Sencore to obtain replacements.

Installation
Management Port
The DMG 3200/3100/3000 can be managed through its web interface
or SOAP XML. To use of the web GUI or SOAP XML, the management
IP address must be congured. Contact your IT department if you are
unsure of these settings.
Conguring Management IP address:
1. The DMG 3200/3100/3000 is shipped with a default IP address,
subnet mask and default gateway.
IP Address: 192.168.1.100
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
2. Set the IP address of the Ethernet adapter of the PC to a xed
address in the same subnet (e.g. 192.168.1.99).
3. Open a web-browser and type 192.168.1.100 in the address eld.
4. Click on the “Admin” section on the left hand side of the screen.
5. Select the switch module installed in slot 0 or slot 17.
6. Enter the desired static IP address, subnet mask and gateway.
7. Click apply to save the changes.
Open a web browser (Mozilla Firefox 3.xx and above, Microsoft Internet Explorer
7.xx and above, Opera 9.xx and above or Google Chrome) and type:
http://<IP Address> Default password is blank.
1. Secure the DMG 3200/3100/3000 into the
rack space.
2. Make all appropriate I/O connections on
the back of the unit.
3. Connect an Ethernet cable from a PC
directly to the Ethernet port marked
“Control” on the switch module.
4. Connect the line cord(s) to the power on
the unit.
