Battery Installation :
1. Please install 2AA batteries.
2. Please replace batteries when you see the low battery indication.
9K/10K Switch
You can set the tuning step of AM through this button, which is inside the battery compartment.
Power On/Off
1. Power button – Press the Power button to turn on the radio. Press the Power button again to turn
off the radio..
2. Wake-to-Radio – Press the AL button to turn on the function. The radio will wake up at the preset
time.
3. Sleep mode
(i) Under power-on mode, press the Sleep button to enter into sleep mode. You can set the
sleep time from 10-90 by pressing the Sleep button.
(ii) If no button is pressed for 4 seconds , it will return to the radio mode.

Band switch :
Press the Band button to select different band in the following order : FM – AM – SW .
Search Stations :
1. Manual Search : Press - or + button continuously to locate the station.
2. Auto Search : Press - or + button for 0.5 seconds , the radio will carry auto search and stop at the
next station.
3. Memory Recall : Select the band. Press the numeric button 0-9 to recall the required channel.
4. Direct Frequency Input :
(i) Select the band.
(ii) Press the Freq. Input AM/FM button.
(iii) Within 5 seconds, press the numeric buttons to set the frequency.
(iv) Press the Freq. Input AM/FM button to confirm.
Examples :
1. FM 104.7 MHz : Press Band button, Freq Input FM , then 1-0-4-7 and Freq Input FM button
again
2. AM 567 KHz : Press Band button, Freq Input AM , then 5-6-7 and Freq Input FM button again
3. SW 6.125MHz : Press Band button, Freq Input AM , then 6-1-2-5 and Freq Input FM button
again
(The tuning step for FM=0.1 MHz, AM=9k/10k, SW=0.005MHz)
Memory Presets ( 3 x 10 presets) :
1. Use auto, manual or direct frequency input to locate the station.
2. Press the M button , the LCD indicator will blink.
3. Press the numeric buttons 0-9 to store into the selected channel.
4. Press the M button again to confirm.
Wake-to-Radio
1. Alarm Time Setting - Press the AL button once, the alarm icon will blink for 3 seconds. Press the +
button to set the hour and – button to set the minute.
2. Turn off alarm function – Press the AL button, you will see the previous preset time blinking. Press
the AL button again. The alarm icon will disappear.

Sleep Mode
1. Sleep Time Setting
(i) Press the Power button will enter into 90 minutes sleep mode.
(ii) Within 4 seconds, short press the Sleep button continuously to select the sleep time from
90 to 10 minutes or OFF.
(iii) When finished, the radio will return into radio mode for 4 seconds.
2. Turn Off Sleep Mode - You can continuously press the Sleep button until you see the Sleep icon
disappear.
Time Setting :
The radio uses 24 hours system.
1. Press the Band/Clock button to switch between Clock 1 and 2.
2. Press the M/Time Set button , you will see the time blinking.
3. Press the + button to set the hour and – button to set the minute.
Use of Antenna :
1. AM : The built-in magnetic antenna inside the radio is used. Rotate body to get best reception.
2. FM : Extend the antenna. Try different angles to get the best reception
3. SW : Extend the antenna. Make the antenna vertical.
4. You can plug in the extension antenna to improve the FM and SW reception.
