Preface
Overview
This document mainly introduces the installation, electrical connection, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting methods
of HYBO-240/240-TL. Before installing and using the photovoltaic energy storage charging cabinet, please read this manual carefully
to understand the safety information and be familiar with the functions and characteristics of the photovoltaic energy storage
charging cabinet.

1 Safety Instructions
1.1 General security considerations
Note！
⚫ This manual is an integral part of the HYBO cabinet and describes the assembly, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and the product. Please
read carefully before commencing any operation;
⚫ The personnel responsible for cabinet management, product installation, electrical connection, commissioning, maintenance and fault handling must
be a qualified electrician and should be trained in order to manage the correct operation methods.
⚫ Any person involved with the management, installation and maintenance of the cabinet must be trained and superifised by a safety officers
responsible for any interaction between the HYBO cabinet with the local electrical system and the possible interference with any other existing
infrastructure.
⚫ WECO is not responsible for the installation process, either for the selection of the installers, the installer must be qualified as per the local regulation.

All operation of this equipment must strictly comply with the relevant equipment precautions and special safety
instructions provided by WECO. The safety warnings listed in the manual represent only those known to WECO and WECO
assumes no responsibility for violations of general safe operating requirements or safety standards for the design, production
and use of equipment.
1.2 Statement
Personnel requirements
Personnel capable of performing HYBO-240/240 installation, cabling, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and replacement must meet
the following criteria:
⚫ Operators should receive professional training
⚫ Operators should read this manual in its entirety and master the safety matters related to operation
⚫ Operators should be familiar with the relevant safety specifications of electrical systems
⚫ The operator must be familiar with the working principle and composition of the photovoltaic storage system and familiar with the user
manual of this product
⚫ During operation, please do not wear metal objects such as rings, watches, key rings, etc., and do a good job of safety protection (such as
wearing insulating gloves, wearing electrician shoes, etc.)
1.3 Enclosure identification protection
⚫ The markings on the HYBO-240/240 cabinet contain important information for safe operation. Alteration or damaging the enclosure and or
the safety signs is strictly prohibited
⚫ The HYBO cabinet has a nameplate on the side that contains important parameter information related to the product. Alteration is strictly
prohibited HYBO

1.4 System installation
Danger!
It is strictly forbidden to operate HYBO connected to any source of electricity during installation
⚫ The process of lifting or placing a PV storage system must be carried out slowly and not quickly, otherwise the product may be damaged
⚫ When installing the HYBO, make sure that it is not electrically connected and energized;
⚫ There should be a certain distance between HYBO-240/240 and surrounding objects to ensure sufficient space for installation and heat
dissipation. If you have any questions about the installation distance, please consult a technical service engineer;
⚫ During installation, liquids, debris or conductive particles must be prevented from entering the system, which could lead to internal short
circuits or system failure
1.5 Electrical connection
Danger!
Before performing any electrical connection, please ensure that HYBO is undamaged and in a safe condition,
Avoid installing HYBO present any visible damage to prevent electric shock, fire personal Injury.
DO not install HYBO if it has any damages on the box or on the steel enclosure
⚫ All electrical connections must comply with national electrical standards;
⚫ HYBO can only be connected to the grid with the permission of the local electricity department;
⚫ The cables used in the cabinet system must be securely connected, well insulated, and of appropriate specifications;
1.6 Operate
Danger!
High Voltage inputs of HYBO are extremely dangerous Please strictly follow the safety precautions listed in this manual and other relevant
documents;
Always follow the LOTO procedure in order to prevent serious risk for safety
⚫ When the HYBO is first powered on, it must be set up by a professional electrical technician.
⚫ Incorrect settings may affect the proper functioning of HYBO and cause HYBO ordinary working mode to be inconsistent with the
certification of the country
⚫ Some components in the HYBO cabinet, such as copper bars, inductors, etc., take a while to cool down after a power outage. Do not touch
them immediately after the power outage, and be careful of burns;
⚫ Operate the equipment in accordance with local regulations and norms;
⚫ The Capacitors contained into the HYBO structure are subject to a slow time discharge, please wait 10/15 minutes before operating inside
the HYBO and make sure all terminals having 0Volts by checking with a voltmeter .
1.7 Maintenance and replacement
Danger!
During the operation of HYBO, be aware that the inputs and outputs are ``high voltage`` that can cause electric shock, resulting in
death, serious personal injury, or serious property damage.
Therefore, before carrying out any maintenance work, the power must be turned off and operated in strict accordance with the
safety precautions listed in this manual and other relevant documents;
⚫ Please maintain HYBO if you are familiar with the contents of this manual and have the appropriate tools and test equipment
⚫ Before maintenance, please turn off HYBO, disconnect the input and output switches, wait at least 10/15 minutes before
conducting any operation on the HYBO cabinet
⚫ During the maintenance sessions, avoid unrelated personnel entering the maintenance site, and temporary warning signs

or fences must be placed to isolate;
⚫ HYBO Contains capacitators, wait 15 minutes before operating on the system after the complete shuts down HYBO
⚫ HYBO can only be re-energized after the fault is handled, otherwise the fault may expand or the equipment may be damaged;
⚫ During maintenance, please be advised by ESD protection specifications and wear anti-static gloves;
⚫ Some components in the cabinet, such as copper bars, inductors, etc., take a while to cool down after a power outage. Do
not touch them immediately after a power outage and be careful of burns
⚫ Avoid opening cabinet doors in rainy or wet weather conditions to maintain or repair products
⚫ When carrying out various operations such as equipment maintenance and inspection, relevant personnel need to take
appropriate protective measures, such as wearing noise-proof earplugs, insulating shoes and anti-scald gloves;

2.1 Overview
Function
HYBO photovoltaic energy storage charging cabinet is a 240kW integrated system integrating photovoltaic series, MPPT module, PCS
module, lithium battery input, mains/oil generator AC input, ATS dual power switch and touch screen; Its function is mainly photovoltaic
power generation, providing backup uninterruptible power supply for loads, and realizing peak shaving and valley filling and electricity
price trading.

The model and description on the name plate are reflecting the Cabinet Series Name, the Solar Input Power / the AC Power and the
Inverter Topology such as TL or TT (TL = transform less and TT = Isolation Transformer Built In)

2.2 System composition
The HYBO- TL system is a transformer less photovoltaic energy storage system developed for areas without grid or to
maximize the renewable energy self-consumption.
It has functional characteristics to managing efficiently the energy generation.
Reliable power supply and intelligent operation and maintenance are granted by the Infographic HMI and Cloud EMS
management platform.
The HYBO is a complete system solution with a common DC bus and modular design MPPT
Support photovoltaic input, AC input, energy storage battery system and generator inputs.
It is a three-phase four-wire AC output.
The products are mainly composed of cabinets, monitoring units, AC/DC modules, MPPT controller modules, ATS modules,
system control units, power distribution units, etc.
The system application is shown below:

The temperature of the cabinet could reach high
temperatures when working, inner surfaces could be
extremely hot , and it is strictly forbidden to touch it
Delayed discharge

There is a high voltage risk after the cabinet is powered on.
All operations against inverters must be carried out by trained
electrical professionals.
As consequence of the High Voltage Inputs there is a residual
high voltage after the cabinet is powered down, and it takes

2.6 Working principle
HYBO can access up to 48 strings of PV strings as direct inputs via MC 4 Built In connection, while above 240kW PV power it
is required to use a Photovoltaic DC Combiner,
The direct PV inputs of the HYBO are integrated inside the cabinet, and each photovoltaic combiner box (MPPT INPUTS)
corresponds to 12 String photovoltaic string.
The photovoltaic combiner box output is connected to the MPPT circuit, each MPPT circuit can track the maximum power
point of one photovoltaic bus independently.
The conversion of DC to three-phase AC power is realized by two internal inverter circuits.
The surge protection function is supported on the DC side and the AC side.
HYBO Cabinet can manage the energy storage function through the preset logic interface but the user can also select a
personalized working pattern using the HMI functions and the remote APP setting features
The PV energy generated can be supplied to the AC load as direct conversion
The excess energy is stored in the energy storage cluster via DC integrated Chargers.
The DC energy stored can be released to the Load or to grid prior AC conversion, according to the user's load settings
and/or based on the energy management rules to maximize the energy marketing benefits.
HYBO- can be equipped with STS or ATS module (according with the customer transition time requirements)
It is also equipped with a generator programmable interface, when the grid is powered off, the generator can be
automatically started, and the ATS will switch to the generator circuit to ensure the load power supply.
