Electrolux EFC9570X is a domestic cooker hood manufactured to comply with GB/T 17713. It is not intended for use by young children or infirmed persons without supervision. The filter must be removed weekly (maximum) for cleaning to prevent grease deposits and fire hazard. The exhaust air from the cooker hood must not be connected to chimney flues or combustion gas ducts and the air exhaust duct must under no circumstances be connected to ventilation ducts from rooms in which fuel-burning appliances are installed.

For the installer

• When installing the cooker hood, make sure you respect

the following minimum and maximum distances from the

cooker hood base to the hob surface. (Fig. 1)

• Gas and Electric cookers:

Minimum 650mm

Maximum 750mm

• Check that the mains supply voltage matches with the

voltage on the cooker hood data plate.

• The exhaust air from the cooker hood must not be

connected to chimney flues or combustion gas ducts.

• The air exhaust duct must under no circumstances be

connected to ventilation ducts from rooms in which

fuel-burning appliances are installed.

• Exhaust air duct installation must comply with the

regulations laid down by the relevant authorities.

• There must be adequate ventilation of the room when the

cooker hood is used at the same time as other appliances

burning gas or other fuels.

• Check that the installation complies with the standards of

local building, gas and electrical authorities.

• Exhaust duct installation: The following rules must be

strictly followed to obtain optimal air extraction:

- Keep exhaust duct short and straight

- Do not reduce the size or restrict exhaust duct

- Keep bends in exhaust duct to a minimum

- When using flexible duct, always install duct with helix

pulled taut to minimise pressure loss

• Failure to observe these basic instructions will drastically

reduce the performance and increase the noise levels of

the cooker hood.

For the user

• Young children should be supervised to ensure they do

not play with the cooker hood.

• The cooker hood is not intended for use by young children

or infirmed persons without supervision.

• The filter must be removed weekly (maximum) for

cleaning. Failure to do so could cause oil & grease

deposits to build up, resulting in a fire hazard.

• Do not flambé under the cooker hood.

• Always cover lit burners with pots or pans when the

cooker hood is in use.

• In the case of oil, gas and coal-fired cookers it is essential

to avoid open flames.

• When deep-frying with a Wok or fry pan, always

remember to keep flames under careful control. The hot

oil in the Wok or fry pan may ignite due to overheating.

• The risk of self-ignition increases when the oil being used

is dirty.

• It is extremely important to note that overheating can

cause a fire.

WARNING:-

Ensure the cooker hood is switched off before carrying

out maintenance to avoid any possibility of electric

shock.

Installation sequence

Before installing the cooker hood, peel off any protective

plastic covering.

Note: Some installations may require the telescopic exhaust

cover to be cut to length. Cut with thin snips or a fine-tooth

hack saw blade, while taking care not to distort or dent the

exhaust cover.

• Determine height between hob and base of hood

• Mark wall to suit all bracket locations

• Install all mounting brackets

• Remove all protective plastic covering

• Hang hood on mounting brackets and secure the anti-tilt

locations

For the electrician

• This appliance is fitted with a 3 core mains cable:

- The wire that is coloured blue must be connected to the

terminal which is marked with the letter N

- The wire that is coloured brown must be connected to

the terminal which is marked with the letter L

- The wire that is coloured green must be connected to

the terminal which is marked with the letter E

WARNING:-

Before connecting to the mains supply, ensure that the

mains voltage corresponds to the voltage on the rating

plate inside the cooker hood.

5 installation

Cleaning the hood

• The hood must always be disconnected from the

electricity supply before beginning any maintenance work

• Cleaning the inside and outside of the hood use a damp

cloth or sponge soaked in warm soapy water. Do not use

corrosive, abrasive, caustic materials or abrasive brushes

• Empty oil collection container before oil reaches the max.

• Remove filter weekly, wash in hot soapy water, dry and

refit. Do not use the hood without the filters installed

Changing the light bulb

• Disconnect the hood from the mains supply

• The surface temperature of the light fitting will be hot after

being on for a period of time

• Remove protective cover with small screwdriver

• Replace the old bulb with a new one of the same type

• (Fig. 12.) Replace protective cover

Maintenance fan wheel and fan housing

• To maintain efficient air extraction, it is recommended that

the fan wheel and fan housing are cleaned yearly

• When cleaning fan wheel, immerse it in hot soapy water

for 30 minutes before cleaning using a soft brush, while

taking care not to loosen the wheel balance weight

• Electric fan motor: Do Not immerse in water, wipe off

excess oil deposits with a dry cloth

• Disconnect the hood from the mains supply

• Dismantle oil container and filter (Fig. 6 to 9) to gain

access to the fan housing

• (Fig. 13.) Remove oil guide and fan housing front face by

using a screwdriver, to gain access to the fan wheel

• (Fig. 14.) Fan housing front face assembly with safety net

attached

• (Fig. 15.) Remove fan wheel retaining nut

• (Fig. 16.) Remove fan wheel carefully

• To replace the fan wheel and fan housing front face,

repeat steps in the reverse order

Check that the hood is connected to the electricity supply

Check that a fan speed has been selected

Check that the screen lock function is off (EFC 9572X)

Solution

The cooker hood will not start…

If after all these checks the problem persists, contact your local Service Center, quoting the model and serial number.

Please note that it will be necessary to provide proof of purchase for any in-guarantee service calls.

In-guarantee customers should ensure that the above checks have been made as the engineer will make a charge if the fault is

not a mechanical or electrical breakdown.

Standard warranty conditions

We, Electrolux, undertake that if within 12 months of the date

of the purchase this Electrolux appliance or any part thereof is

proved to be defective by reason only of faulty workmanship

or materials, we will, at our option repair or replace the same

FREE OF CHARGE for labour, materials or carriage on

condition that:

The appliance has been correctly installed and used only on

the electricity supply stated on the rating plate.

The appliance has been used for normal domestic purposes

only, and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

The appliance has not been serviced, maintained, repaired,

taken apart or tampered with by any person not authorized

by us.

All service work under this guarantee must be undertaken by

an Electrolux Service Center. Any appliance or defective part

replaced shall become the Company’s property.

This warranty is in addition to your statutory and other legal

rights.

This warranty does not include maintenance, like cleaning of

hood.

The manufacturer waives all liability for failure to

observe the instructions for the appropriate

installation, maintenance and use of the extractor

hood.

• Selalu lindungi tungku dengan panci/wajan ketika cooker

hood digunakan.

• Minyak, gas dan batu bara dapat membakar alat masak,

hindari pembakaran terbuka.

• Ketika menggoreng, jagalah wajan bagian atas kompor /

bagian bawah kompor tetap terkontrol. MInyak panas di

dalam wajan penggoreng dapat menyebabkan terjadinya

panas yang berlebihan (overheat).

• Resiko terbakar makin meningkat ketika minyak yang di-

gunakan sudah kotor.

• Hal terpenting yang harus diingat bahwa panas yang

berlebihan dapat menyebabkan kebakaran.

• Jangan menaruh makanan yang mengandung bahan

yang mudah terbakar (flambé) di bawah cooker hood.

• Filter harus dibersihkan setiap minggu (maksimal)

Bila hal ini dibiarkan dapat terjadi tumpukan minyak dan

lemak yang dapat menyebabkan bahaya kebakaran.

• Alat ini tidak diperuntukkan pada pemakaian oleh anak kecil

dan orang cacat tanpa pengawasan.

• Anak kecil harus diawasi untuk memastikan mereka tidak

bermain-main dengan alat ini.

Pastikan alat telah dimatikan terlebih dulu sebelum

mengganti lampu untuk menghindari dari kemungkinan

tersetrum.

• Lubang udara keluar tidak boleh dalam keadaan terhubung

dengan saluran ventilasi untuk

ruangan yang terpasang

alat untuk pembakaran.

• Pemasangan lubang udara keluar harus sesuai dengan

peraturan yang ditetapkan oleh pihak yang berwenang.

• Harus ada ventilasi udara yang cukup pada ruangan ketika

cooker hood digunakan bersamaan dengan alat

pembakaran gas atau bahan bakar lainnya.

• Mohon periksa apakah pemasangan telah memenuhi

peraturan standar gedung serta pihak perusahaan gas dan

listrik yang berwenang.

• Pemasangan saluran keluar udara: Aturan berikut ini

harus diikuti dengan benar untuk mencapai ekstraksi udara

yang optimal:

- Buat saluran keluar pendek dan lurus.

- Jangan mengurangi atau membatasi ukuran saluran

keluar udara

- Usahakan saluran keluar udara mempunyai tekukan atau

bengkokan yang minimum

- Ketika menggunakan saluran yang fleksibel, selalu pasang

kabel penarik/pemegang untuk meminimalkan hilangnya

tekanan gas.

• Tidak mengikuti petunjuk dasar ini akan dapat mengurangi

performa secara drastis dan menaikkan tingkat kebisingan

pada cooker hood.

• Ketika memasang cooker hood, pastikan anda mengikuti

jarak minimum dan maksimum dari bagian terbawah cooker

hood ke bagian permukaan kompor berikut ini.

Catatan: Pada beberapa pemasangan, panjang cover saluran

keluar teleskopis perlu dipotong. Potong dengan gunting atau

gergaji yang tajam, ketika melakukannya jangan sampai cover

berubah bentuk atau penyok.

Untuk teknisi listrik

PERINGATAN:-

Sebelum menghubungkan ke sumber listrik, pastikan

tegangan pada sumber sama dengan tegangan listrik

yang tertera pada plat rating di dalam cooker hood.

Alat ini dilengkapi 3 kabel utama yaitu:

- Kabel berwarna biru harus disambungkan pada terminal

yang ditandai huruf

- Kabel berwarna coklat harus disambungkan pada terminal

yang ditandai huruf L

- Kabel berwarna hijau harus disambungkan pada terminal

yang ditandai huruf E

Aliran listrik pada Hood harus diputuskan terlebih dahulu

dari sumber listrik sebelum memulai pekerjaan perawatan.

Bersihkan bagian dalam dan luar hood menggunakan kain

basah atau spons yang direndam pada air sabun. Jangan

gunakan bahan yang dapat menyebabkan karat, ampelas,

bahan tajam atau sikat yang kasar.

Kosongkan wadah pengumpul minyak sebelum mencapai

garis tanda maksimum.

Lepaskan filter setiap minggu, cuci dalam air sabun panas,

keringkan lalu pasang kembali. Jangan gunakan hood

tanpa filter yang terpasang.

Mengganti bola lampu

Putuskan terlebih dahulu aliran listrik pada Hood dari

sumber listrik

Temperatur permukaan pada rumah lampu akan memanas

setelah pemakaian beberapa lama.

Lepaskan cover pelindung dengan obeng kecil.

Ganti bola lampu yang lama dengan tipe yang sama

7 pemeliharaan and care

Untuk menjaga efisiensi ekstraksi udara, disarankan

kipas dan rumah kipas dibersihkan tiap tahun.

Ketika membersihkan roda kipas, rendam dengan air sabun

panas selama 30 menit sebelum membersihkan dengan

menggunakan sikat yang lembut, ketika sedang melakukan

perawatan, jangan copot roda penyeimbang berat

Motor listrik pada kipas:

Jangan direndam pada air, bersihkan

endapan lemak yang berlebihan dengan kain yang kering

Putuskan aliran listrik hood dengan sumber listrik utama

atas produk Electrolux atau komponen apapun yang mengalami

kerusakan yang terbukti karena kesalahan pada proses pengerjaan

atau cacat pada material, sesuai dengan kebijakan kami akan

memperbaiki atau mengganti dengan produk yang sama secara

GRATIS termasuk biaya tenaga kerja, material dan pengantaran

dengan kondisi:

Produk telah dipasang dengan benar dan digunakan hanya pada

sambungan listrik sesuai dengan yang tertera pada plat rating.

Produk digunakan pada pemakaian normal dan telah sesuai

dengan instruksi dari produsen.

Produk tidak pernah diservis, dirawat, diperbaiki, dibongkar atau

mengalami proses apapun oleh siapapun yang tidak diotorisasi

oleh kami.

Semua servis dibawah garansi harus dilakukan dibawah

pengawasan Electrolux Service Center. Produk atau bagian yang

rusak akan menjadi milik perusahaan.

Daønh cho ngöôøi laép ñaët

Khi laép ñaët maùy, haõy chaéc raèng baïn ñaõ tuaân thuû theo

nhöõng qui ñònh veà khoaûng caùch toái ña vaø toái thieåu tính

töø maët treân cuûa beáp (hình 1)

Beáp gas vaø beáp ñieän:

Khoaûng caùch toái thieåu 650mm

Khoaûng caùch toái ña 750mm

Kieåm tra xem lieäu nguoàn ñieän cung caáp coù phuø hôïp vôùi

taàn soá ñieän aùp ñaõ ñöôïc ghi treân baûng thoâng soá döõ lieäu

hay khoâng.

Khoâng ñöôïc keát noái loã thoaùt khí vôùi oáng khoùi hoaëc oáng

daãn gas.

Trong baát cöù tröôøng hôïp naøo, loã thoaùt khí phaûi ñöôïc keát

noái vôùi oáng thoâng gioù trong phoøng, nôi laép ñaët caùc thieát

bò ñoát nhieân lieäu.

Vieäc laép ñaët loã thoaùt khí phaûi tuaân theo nhöõng qui ñònh

ñöôïc ñeà ra bôûi nhöõng ngöôøi coù thaåm quyeàn.

Phaûi coù heä thoáng thoâng gioù thích hôïp trong phoøng khi söû

duïng maùy huùt khoùi cuøng luùc vôùi caùc thieát bò ñoát baèng ga

hay baèng caùc loaïi nhieân lieäu khaùc.

Haõy kieåm tra xem lieäu vieäc laép ñaët ñaõ tuaân theo caùc

tieâu chuaån veà xaây döïng, veà khí ñoát vaø nhieân lieäu cuûa

ñòa phöông hay chöa.

Vieäc laép ñaët oáng thoaùt khoùi: ñeå duy trì hieäu quaû cuûa

maùy moät caùch toái ña, ta caàn tuaân theo caùc nguyeân taéc

- OÁng thoaùt khí ngaén vaø thaúng.

- Khoâng giaûm hay haïn cheá kích côõ cuûa oáng thoaùt khí.

- Giöõ caùc oáng cong ôû möùc thaáp nhaát.

- Khi duøng oáng thoaùt meàm, phaûi luoân luoân laép oáng baèng

oáng xoaén ñaõ ñöôïc keùo thaúng ra ñeå haïn cheá söï thaát thoaùt

aùp suaát.

Khoâng thöïc hieän caùc qui taéc cô baûn treân seõ laøm giaûm

hieäu suaát hoaït ñoäng cuûa maùy moät caùch ñaùng keå vaø laøm

taêng ñoä oàn cuûa maùy.

Daønh cho ngöôøi söû duïng

CAÛNH BAÙO:

Ñaûm baûo raèng maùy huùt khoùi ñaõ ñöôïc taét tröôùc khi baûo

döôõng maùy ñeåtraùnh caùc tröôøng hôïp soác ñieän coù theå xaûy ra.

Treû em phaûi ñöôïc giaùm saùt ñeå ñaûm baûo raèng chuùng

khoâng ñuøa nghòch vôùi maùy.

Treû nhoû vaø ngöôøi oám yeáu khoâng ñöôïc söû duïng maùy

neáu khoâng coù ngöôøi lôùn giaùm saùt.

Phin loïc phaûi ñöôïc thaùo ra veä sinh haøng tuaàn (toái ña).

Neáu khoâng caën daàu vaø môõ laâu ngaøy tích tuï laïi seõ daãn

ñeánnguy cô chaùy noå.

Khoâng bao giôø thöïc hieän coâng vieäc naáu nöôùng vôùi löûa

quaù lôùn döôùi maùy huùt muøi.

Luoân luoân che ngoïn löûa baèng aám hay chaûo khi maùy

huùt khoùi ñang hoaït ñoäng.

Trong tröôøng hôïp duøng beáp daàu, gas hay than ñaù thì

vieäc ngaên ngöøa ngoïn löûa lôùn laø raát caàn thieát.

Khi chieân thöïc phaåm trong chaûo raùn ngaäp daàu, ta phaûi

luoân luoân nhôù giöõ cho ngoïn löûa trong taàm kieåm soaùt.

Daàu quaù noùng trong chaûo coù theå gaây ñaùnh löûa vì hieän

töôïng quaù nhieät.

Nguy cô töï ñaùnh löûa seõ taêng khi daàu quaù dô.ø

Ñieàu quan troïng caàn löu yù laø hieän töôïng quaù nhieät coù

theå gaây chaùy.
