Symptom Solution

Check that the hood is connected to the electrical supply

Check that a fan speed has been selected

Check that the screen lock function is off (EFC9572X only)

Bulb damaged - needs replacement

Loose bulb – remove lamp protective cover and reinsert bulb

The cooker hood suction is not effective Check that the kitchen is adequately vented to al low the entry of fresh air

The cooker hood makes excessive noise Hood installed above max. height – reinstall within recommend height

Exhaust pipe blocked or damaged reinstall

Wall vent or roof cowl to small reinstall with correct size

Exhaust pipe has been reduced in size reinstall with correct size

Damper will not open reinstall exhaust pipe

The cooker hood lights not working

The cooker hood wil l not start
