Insert the software CD, it starts
automatically.

NOTE 1: Depending on the operating systems you are using, the "Windows Security" message may appear on the screen while the installation is in progress, click "Install this driver software
anyway" and continue the installation.

NOTE 2: In order to enable the OCR and PDF function in the Panel V2.0 (as in the Step 3 below), ABBYY FineReader and Adobe Acrobat Reader are required to install from the software CD menu.

Insert the software CD. Double
click icon on the desktop.

folder.

icon.

Click "Continue" at the welcome
screen, then follow instructions
to complete installation of the

Click "Close" after installation is
complete.

Next, double click Scanner
driver folder.

Using the Scanner

Place a document/photo, then close
the lid.

Select 'Start' > 'All Programs' > this
scanner model > 'Panel V2.0' to open the
Panel V2.0. Click to scan.

Click to save the scanned image.

Choose the scanner model

the lid.

Double click icon from Mac's
'Applications' folder. Choose the scanner
model from the Image Acquire window,
then click Acquire.

Click Preview to prescan. Set the scan area
using the marquee, then click Scan.

image.

Connecting Scanner

Connect supplied AC adapter and USB cable. The scanner is powered on
when the AC adapter is connected.
