2-1. Electronic Malfunction Troubleshooting Chart – C576R

Malfunction Circumstance Points for inspection and testing Components to replace

No start (Alternator) Display is not lit; Exercise on

unit; display shows no reaction

and does not light up.

1. Inspect all cable connections.

2. Inspect alternator power.

3. Inspect drive board CLK6 indicator.

4. Replace drive board.

5. Replace control board.

No start (Battery) Display does not light when the

exerciser stops exercising.

1. Inspect all cable connections.

2. Inspect the battery fuse.

3. Measure battery voltage. Battery

voltage should be 5.3V or more.

4. If battery voltage is under 8V,

exercise on the unit at 35 RPM per

minute or faster to replenish the

battery.

Troubleshooting

Model: C576R

Malfunction: Unit will not start (alternator).

Circumstance: Start pedaling; the display shows no reaction.

Possible reasons: 1. Wires are not connected.

2.The drive board faulty.

3.The control board faulty.

Troubleshooting: 1. Inspect wire and data cable connections.

2. Inspect the alternator. Do LED6 on the drive board light

when you pedal?

3. Replace the drive board as a test.

4. Replace the control board.

Troubleshooting

Model: C576R

Malfunction: Unit will not start (battery).

Circumstance: When I stop pedaling, the display turns off.

Possible causes: 1. The battery fuse on the drive board is burnt.

2. The battery power is too low because the bike has been out of use.

3. The battery charge function on drive board has failed.

Troubleshooting: 1. Inspect wire and data cable connections.

2. Measure the battery voltage. Normal: 12V or more.

3. Replace the drive board as a test.

4. Pedal at 50 RPM or higher to recharge the battery.
