Gussets

Procedure
1. Clean any debris from the rear frame of the
mac hine .
2. T o mark the holes for the left gusset, remo v e
the bolt holding the fix ed idler pulley brac k et
as sho wn in Figure 1 .

3. Install the left gusset with a bolt (3/8 x 1 inc h)
and a flang e n ut (3/8 inc h) through the existing
hole in the fix ed idler brac k et and frame ( Figure
2 .) Do not o v er tighten the bolt and mak e sure
the gusset is ag ainst the rear frame .
4. T o mark the holes for the right gusset, use the
existing hole in the frame as sho wn in ( Figure
2 .).

5. Install the right gusset with a bolt (3/8 x 7/8
inc h) and a flang e n ut (3/8 inc h) through the
existing hole in the frame . Do not o v er tighten
the bolt and mak e sure the gusset is ag ainst the
rear frame .

diameter holes at the mark ed locations ( Figure

Installing the Gussets
Parts needed for this step:

Procedure
1. Install the left gusset with a bolt (3/8 x 1
inc h) and a flang e n ut (3/8 inc h) through the
existing hole in the fix ed idler brac k et and
frame ( Figure 2 ). Install 3 bolts (3/8 x 7/8
inc h) and 3 flang e n uts (3/8 inc h) in the holes
drilled for the left gusset.
2. Install the right gusset with a 4 bolts (3/8 x
7/8 inc h) and 4 flang e n uts (3/8 inc h) through
the existing hole in the frame .
