2M / WT830M-850M / WT830EA-850EA).

From serial number 42200001 we’ve introduced the firmware release 3.12 in
main boards and the firmware release 3.03 in user interfaces of:
North America Undercounter range (LS6AH / WT30H)
North America Hood Type range (LS14H / WT65H),
LS5WS / WT4WS (with water softener built-in)
WT38TDE (Undercounter Medical Line for UK)
with following additional features:
1. Setting in Fahrenheit degrees (°F) for North America models.
2. Six more wash/rinse cycles for resins to avoid salt residuals into boiler and
tank when inlet water pressure is lower than 1,5 bar for LS5WS / WT4WS.
Time can be changed only by PC (communication software).
3. Countdown for final pause of WT38TDE (Medical Line for UK).
4. Door lock driving for WT38TDE (Medical Line for UK).
The new firmware releases will be soon introduced also in all remaining
models in order to standardize main boards and user interfaces.

Field
New main boards 3.12 and new user interfaces 3.03 are perfectly
interchangeable towards previous ones according to tables below:

Be aware that:
FOR ALL MODELS
1. New main boards 3.12 above have default configuration for LS5 / WT4 (as well as old main boards
3.10) because those models have no display so main board can’t be set by user interface.
If used in other models changing configuration parameters CFG and FAC is needed (see Service
Manual for more details).
FOR NORTH AMERICA MODELS
1. North America models (Undercounter and Hood Type) have setting in °F only if main board has
firmware 3.12
and user interface has firmware 3.03.
In case of machine upgrading on field you have to replace both main board and user interface.
New main boards 3.12 work properly with old user interfaces 3.02 (and vice versa old main boards
3.10 work properly with new user interfaces 3.03) but without setting in °F.
FOR ALL REMAINING MODELS
1. There are new user interfaces because they are part in common with North America models that
need new the feature above (setting in °F).
All old user interfaces 3.02 (see table above) can be used until clearance stock.
2. New main boards works 3.12 properly (adding new features above) with old user interfaces 3.02.
In case of machine upgrading on field you have to replace just the main board. You don’t need to
replace also the user interface.
All old main boards 3.10 (see table above) can be used until clearance stock in models not involved
in firmware change, that are:
• LS5 / WT4 (models with water softener excluded)
• LS6E / WT30E (WT38TDE excluded)
• LS9 / WT55
• LS10EA-14EA / WT65E
• PW1M-2M / WT830M-850M / WT830EA-850EA
3. To upgrade features, new main board 3.12 must be ordered for remaining models, that are:
• LS5WS / WT4WS
• WT38TDE.
The present modification/upgrade can be retrofitted and it is not mandatory.
