ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION

DISASSEMBLY

When this manual refers to a part number, it refers to the included Parts List in the manual of the power

sweeper 8617409.

WARNING! Drain all fluids from the engine before performing any maintenance to the unit.

1. Tilt the machine back making sure that it is properly supported.

2. Unscrew the M10*30 bolt (1) with a 16mm wrench and remove the brush guard (3).

3. Remove the six brush II (flat) and the five brush sleeves (5) in turn.

4. Remove the last brush I (curved) (6).

5. Repeat the process for the opposite side.

ASSEMBLY

1. Slide a brush I (curved) (6) first over the brush shaft weldment (7) and then slide the brush sleeve (5)

and the remaining six brushes II (flat) (4) and five brush sleeves (5) onto the brush shaft weldment (7).

NOTE: A brush sleeve (5) must be attached between each brush.

2. Replace the brush guards (3) making sure to line up the brush’s pin roll into the gaps of the brush

guard (3) when installing the final brush and secure with the M10*30 bolt (1) using the 16mm wrench

to tighten firmly.
