2. RECOMMENDATIONS
We recommend you to read the instructions carefully before use, as they contain important
information of interest for your safety.
The CC-119F main control unit has some functions that you may not have seen before, so check
them with the support of this manual before using it in a real installation.
3. ACCESSORIES
The CC-119F is supplied with a connection cable, a wall base and an instruction manual.
Keep the cartons with you, just in case any future repair is necessary.

4. FUNCTIONALITY
Area or Floor Control Unit. It allows the reception of the incidences of the system and its
management. It also allows the control and programming of the secondary elements of the
installation (TH-03F, TH-02F, UR, UR-04, SAM-M, etc.

The SMC general bus uses bi-directional data, audio, power and auxiliary signals. The

5.3. Cable specifications
In order to confirm the installation of the appropriate cable, Optimus recommends C5-SMC cable
that includes all wires needed for power supply, data, audio and auxiliary signal transmission. It is
available in 100 m reels.

STP Cat5 or Cat6 cable for audio and data communication may be also used if below points are
considered:
One pair is used for audio communication and the other pair for data communication.
One wire of the pair is used for signal transmission (audio or data) and the other is
connected to negative.
Conductor section is minimum of 0,22 mm².
Maximum distance is 200 m.
Power supply transmission requires parallel cable with 2,5 mm² section per wire, that may be
however calculated for each installation depending on the components of the system and distance
between them.
Using any other type of cable for data communication, such as FTP, as it is not shielded by pair,
may cause interferences of data signal on audio signal.
It is highly recommended also to sectorize the bus with Optimus SC-BUS bus isolator to avoid that
a local fail could cause a general fail in the system,. It also may help during the starting up of the
system and allow the use of smaller section wires.
Attention!
Shield is used only as protection against external interference. Connect the shield in all bus
branches (data with data, audio with audio). Only if there is a lot of electrical noise, shield
may be connected to the CC-123F (negative pole of power supply). Contact our Technical
Department for further information.
5.4. USB conector
Allows the connection to a computer to upload messages and tables to the main control unit.

6. VOLUME ADJUSTMENT
The adjustment of the ringtone volume can be done from volume potentiometer on the bottom of
the main control unit and using parameter settings from LCD display of the same unit.
To adjust the ringtone volume you may push F1 key and then, 1 key (to increase) or 7 key (to
decrease).
To leave adjustment menu push again F1 key or wait for 3 seconds.
7. BUTTONS
When a normal incoming call is received, push ENTER to cancel it without releasing the door lock.
To open the door, push F2. The call will be cancelled and the door lock will be released.

11. PROGRAMMING THE SYSTEM
11.1. Clock adjustment
- When the main control unit turns on, the clock is set as 00:00:00.
- To adjust the clock, confirm that the main unit is not working, introduce hour and minutes
with a 9 in between (hh9mm) and push DEL for validation.
- For example, to introduce 10:11:04, you may push 101104 DEL
11.2. Sector programming
- In the “00” position (address) it is set the sector of the main unit, and the next 3 digits 000
(content) correspond to the main unit sector.
- Push 91264 DEL (to enter in programming mode):
- For example, if main units sector is 1, you may push 00001ENTER:

- Push DEL to leave programming mode.
11.3. Renumber of active substations of the system
- After introducing 91283 DEL, the message “Call Programming” will appear on the display:
- Make a call from a substation (for instance, PT-1CF, PT-1BF, SAM-M…).
- On the display, it will appear the actual number of active substation or remote control unit
(for instance, 16).
- Assign the new number to this active substation and push ENTER (for instance, if it is
assigned number 1).

- If the substation can make presence activation, activate it (to check on display new
assigned number).
- Push again presence button to restore the system. From then, this active substation or
remote control unit will be identified by this number.
- Repeat the same sequence to renumber all of active substations of the installation.
- Once all active substations or remote control units have been accordingly set, push DEL to
leave Call Programming mode.
11.4. Transfer programming
- The number of the destination main units is set in memory positions 70, 71, 72 and 73.
Let’s make an example:
- Imagine that, from main unit 1, when the first transfer is made, main unit 1 is transferred to
main unit 3; when second transfer is made, main unit 1 transferred to main unit 4 and when
third transfer is made, main unit 1 is transferred to main unit 2. There isn’t any fourth
transfer.
o Introduce the code to access to programming mode: 91264 DEL
o The first transfer is saved in memory position 70. Destination will be main unit 3 (in
this example): 70003 ENTER
o Next destinations will be: 71004 ENTER (second transfer), 72002 ENTER (third
transfer). In this case, in memory position 73 it won’t be specified any data, because
there is not any fourth transfer.
o Push DEL to leave programming mode.

11.5. Transfer activation
Only one transfer may be activated at a time.
To activate the desired transfer, when the main unit is not working, you may introduce:
95987 DEL: 1st transfer activation (in our example case, from main unit 1 to 3).
95988 DEL: 2nd transfer activation (in our example case, from main unit 1 to 4).
95989 DEL: 3rd transfer activation (in our example case, from main unit 1 to 2).
95990 DEL: 4th transfer activation (in our example case, it is not programmed).
When the first transfer is activated, on main unit 1 display it will appear:
On display of main unit 3, which is the transfer destination, it is shown the sector previously set, in
this case “3”, and also the sector of the main unit that it is transferred at this moment:
11.6. Transfer cancellation
To cancel any transfer, it is only necessary to introduce the sequence of the first transfer:

11.7. Simultaneous main control units settings
It is possible to have in the system two or more main control units working as simultaneous units. It
means that all the main units will receive all the incoming calls from substations, and the first main
unit that answers the incoming call will be in communication with the substation.
To confirm the right performance of some main units working as simultaneous units, it is necessary
to set one main unit as master unit and the others as slave units. If not, fails in call
reception/transmission and events may be produced.
The main unit set as the master cannot be turned off.

active elements (like UR, SAM-M ...) by Call Programming setting.
11.8. External call signaling
Once a call is made from a room / entrance point, relay will be activated and contact closure will be
closed:
11.9. Uploading messages/tables to the main control unit
1. First step is installing the software. Then Proyecto1 access will be created in the folder
C:\Program Files. Also, Mensajes and Tablas folders will appear in Start menu.
Most important files are:
MensaTabla.exe Executable software.
defecto.txt Text that will appear as a message on main unit’s display.
ptabla.txt Room numbers. (From number 1 to 2048)

2. Second step is doing a security copy of text files, since they will be modified according to
installation requirements.
3. To modify messages, open defecto.txt file and replace existing text by desired one. Please,
consider below points:
- Maximum length of the messages is 12 characters.
- In the file, do not add or delete any text line.
- Once modified, file should be saved.
4. To change numbers, open ptabla.txt file and replace existing numbers by desired ones.
- In the file, do not add or delete any text line.
- Do not repeat any number.
5. To upload messages/tables to the main unit, a USB-USB cable to connect the main control unit
to the PC is needed. Previously, USB drivers should be installed in the PC.
6. Before starting with upload, confirm that main control unit is turned on and data wire is
disconnected. Any call received during the upload may interrupt data transference to the main
control unit.
- Start “Mensajes y Tablas” software. Below screen will appear to upload messages/tables
to the main control unit:

9. If there in no communication link, review USB cable and confirm that USB drivers have been
installed in the PC previously.
10. Push “Enviar mensajes” button or “Enviar tabla” button depending on the data you want to
upload to the main control unit.

12. GUARANTEE CERTIFICATE
1. OPTIMUS S.A. guarantees that its products are free from material and
manufacturing defects when they are first delivered to the purchaser.
2. In accordance with the conditions outlined here, OPTIMUS S.A. guarantees
its products for two (2) years from the date on which the purchaser acquires
the product. If, within this guarantee period, defects appear which are not due
to factors outlined in section 2, OPTIMUS S.A. shall replace or repair the unit
using equivalent, new or reconstructed replacement parts, as it deems fit. If
replacement parts are applied which improve the unit, OPTIMUS S.A. reserves
the right to charge the client for the additional cost of these components.
3. No guarantee benefits shall be provided other than those cited here.
4. In order to claim the guarantee rights, it shall be an essential requirement to
present the original purchase invoice or the guarantee certificate.
2. GUARANTEE PROVISIONS
1. In the event that the product had to be modified or adapted to comply with
local requirements concerning technical specifications or safety, and if the
country in question is not the country for which the product was originally
designed and manufactured, defects are not considered to be material or
manufacturing defects. Furthermore, the guarantee does not cover the
execution of these modifications or adaptations, regardless of whether or not
they have been carried out correctly.
Nor shall OPTIMUS S.A. be responsible for any costs under this guarantee for
these types of modifications.
2. The guarantee shall not entitle the purchaser to inspection or free
maintenance or repair of the unit, particularly if the defects are due to
inappropriate use. Nor do the guarantee rights cover defects in wearing parts
that become worn as a result of normal wear and tear. Wearing parts are, in
particular, potentiometers, switches/keys, and similar parts.
3. The guarantee does not cover defects in the equipment unit caused by:
Abuse or incorrect use of the unit for purposes other than those for
which it is intended, in non-compliance with the service and
maintenance instructions specified in the Manual and/or Technical
Instructions for the unit.
Connection or use of the product in a manner that does not correspond
to the technical or safety requirements of the country in which the unit is
used.
Installation in conditions other than those indicated in the Manual and/or
Technical Instructions.
Deficiency or interruptions in the electricity supply or installation defects
which imply use in abnormal conditions.
Damage caused by other equipment units that are connected to the
product.
The use or installation of Software (programmes), interfaces, parts or
supplies not provided and/or not authorised by OPTIMUS S.A.
Failure to use the original packaging for transportation.
Damage caused by force majeure or other causes not attributable to
OPTIMUS S.A.
4. The following elements are not covered by this guarantee:
All plastic surfaces and all parts exposed to outdoor conditions which
have been scratched or damaged as a result of normal or abnormal use.
Breakages, knocks, damage due to a fall or scratches caused by
moving the unit in any way.
Damage caused by tests, use, maintenance, installation or inappropriate
adjustments, or as a result of any alteration or modification of any kind
not carried out by a Service Authorised by OPTIMUS S.A. in compliance
with this guarantee.
Damage to persons or property that might be caused by the improper
use of the equipment, including lack of maintenance.
5. The guarantee shall not be valid whenever the following is observed:
Amendments or corrections made to the details of the guarantee
certificate or purchase invoice.
Failure to produce the original invoice or the absence of a date on this.
Absence of the serial or batch number on the equipment.
6. In the case of personal computers, the guarantee will not cover the
elimination of computer viruses, the restoration of programmes damaged by
these or the reinstallation of the disk following its deletion.
7. The rights of this guarantee are invalidated if the product has been repaired
or opened by staff unauthorised by OPTIMUS S.A. or by the client himself.
8. If OPTIMUS S.A. were to establish before the purchaser that the damage
affecting the unit does not entitle a claim to be made under the guarantee, the
costs of checking the equipment incurred by OPTIMUS S.A. shall be borne by
the client.
9. Products not covered by the guarantee shall only be repaired once payment
has been effected by the client. In the event that the guarantee rights do not
apply, OPTIMUS S.A. shall duly inform the client. If, within a period of 6 weeks
from this communication, no written repair order is received from the client
confirming acceptance of the costs, OPTIMUS S.A. shall return the unit in
question to the client. In this case, the transport and packaging costs shall be
invoiced separately and payment shall be made on delivery. In the event that a
repair order is sent by the client, confirming that he assumes the costs of
repair, the transport and packaging costs shall be invoiced additionally, and
also separately.
10. If the equipment needs to be transferred to the Authorised Service Centre,
transportation shall be effected by the responsible party according to the
guarantee, who will also bear the freight and insurance costs.
11. In the event of a defect, OPTIMUS S.A. guarantees that the repair and/or
replacement of parts so that the unit operates correctly will be made within a
period of no more than 30 days. Nevertheless, OPTIMUS S.A. would like to
clarify that the normal period does not exceed 30 days.
12. All parts or products replaced as part of the guarantee services shall
become the property of OPTIMUS S.A.
3. TRANSFER OF GUARANTEE
The guarantee is solely awarded to the original purchaser (principal client) and
is not transferable. With the exception of OPTIMUS S.A., no third party
(dealers, etc.) is authorised to award additional guarantees on behalf of
OPTIMUS S.A.
4. CLAIMS FOR DAMAGE
In the event that OPTIMUS S.A. cannot provide a suitable guarantee service,
the purchaser shall not be entitled to claim any indemnity for damages arising.
The responsibility held by OPTIMUS S.A. is limited in all cases to the invoicing
price of the product.
5. RELATION WITH OTHER GUARANTEE RIGHTS AND NATIONAL LAW
1. This guarantee does not affect the rights of the purchaser with respect to
the vendor arising from the contract of sale accomplished.
2. These conditions of the guarantee provided by OPTIMUS S.A. are valid as
long as they do not contradict the corresponding national law on guarantee
provisions.
3. OPTIMUS S.A. guarantees that this product complies with the safety
regulations in force in the country.
THIS LIMITED GUARANTEE DECLARATION IS THE EXCLUSIVE
GUARANTEE OFFERED BY OPTIMUS S.A. ALL OTHER EXPLICIT OR
IMPLICIT GUARANTEES ARE EXCLUDED, AND THIS ALSO APPLIES TO
GUARANTEES OF MARKETABILITY AND SUITABILITY FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE. (EXCEPT WHEN THESE GUARANTEES ARE
REQUIRED BY AN APPLICABLE LAW). NO GUARANTEE, EITHER
EXPLICIT OR IMPLICIT, SHALL BE APPLIED ONCE THE GUARANTEE
PERIOD HAS EXPIRED.
