Gas Operation with ISO-Butane
If used with ISO-Butane, the following problems can occur:
no ignition
the flame goes out within 2 to 3 minutes and the re-igniter continues to spark
the flame can be extinguished by products of combustion
Operation with ISO-Butane is not recomended.

Failure 1 : The refrigerator does not work in gas operation mode.
Possible cause Action you can take
a.) Gas bottle empty.
b.) Is the supply cut-out device open?.
c.) Is the flue outlet blocked ?
d.) Faults during ignition process ?
As the burner chamber is filled with
gas, ignition is not possible.
e.) If the appliance was not in use for a
long time, possibly there is no build-up
of thermal current in the exhaust pipe.
Before calling the authorised Service Department, please check whether:
1. the instructions in the section "Using the refrigerator" have been followed.
2. the refrigerator is not tilted excessiveley.
3. it is possible to operate the refrigerator with an available power source.
Failure 2 : The refrigerator does not work on 12V.
Possible cause Action you can take
a.) On-board fuse defective.
a.) Fit new fuse.
Failure 3 : The refrigerator does not cool sufficiently.
Possible cause Action you can take
a) Inadequate ventilation to the unit.
b) The thermostat setting is too low.
c) There is too much ice on the evaporator.
d) Too much warm food put inside.
a) Check that the flue outlet is not covered.
Check whether the refrigerator was instal-
led properly (Installation Guide).
b) Turn the thermostat to a higher setting.
c) Check that the refrigerator door seals
when shut.
d) Let food cool down first.
a.) Change gas bottle.
b.) Open the cut-out device.
c.) Clear away leaves, snow etc.
d.) Wait several hours to let the gas
vanish. Operate on 12V or 230V to
generate a thermal current.
e.) Switch on 12V mode or 230V mode
for approx. 30 minutes to warm up
the exhaust pipe.
