Start up
Unlock the battery compartment cover and remove. Insert 2 x AAA long life
batteries or 2 x AAA rechargeable batteries and replace the cover.
Your Shotsaver S210 comes preloaded with over 5000 courses and is ready to
use straight out of the box.
Power up your S210 by pressing and holding the power button. A sample
list of courses will be displayed until the unit picks up satellite connection.
Once GPS connectivity has been obtained the three courses nearest your
current location will be displayed in order of proximity. If GPS connection is
not obtained, for instance if you have powered up the unit indoors, only the
sample courses will be displayed.
Selecting a course
Your S210 has been programmed to automatically display a list of courses in
order of proximity to your current position using GPS. When you arrive at the
golf course you are going to be playing at, power up your unit and wait until
the unit connects to satellites and obtains a GPS signal. After a few moments,
a GPS connection will be made and the course you are at will be displayed
automatically. Using the ‘Up’ and ‘Down’ buttons, highlight your chosen
course and press the ‘Select’ button. You are ready to play!
The next time you power up the unit and it has connected to satellites, it will
automatically display a list of the courses nearest to you as well as the last
course you selected.

Using your Shotsaver S210
The Shotsaver S210 is a very simple unit to use. Once you have selected the
course you want to play the ‘Front, Middle, Back’ display will be shown which
automatically displays the hole number, Par and the distances to the front,
middle and back of the green. If you are not starting at hole 1 you can use the
‘Up’ and ‘Down’ buttons to change holes.
As you walk down the fairway the distances to the front, middle and back of
the green will change automatically, as the device monitors your position and
automatically calculates your distance from the green. As well as displaying
distances to the front, middle and back of the green, the S210 will also show
you distances to key hazards such as bunkers and streams. To view this
information, briefly press the power button and any hazard information will
be displayed starting with the 2 hazards nearest to your position. Use the ‘Up’
and ‘Down’ buttons to scroll through any other hazards recorded for that
particular hole. To return to the front, middle and back information press the
button again.

Power save features
Your Shotsaver S210 incorporates two power saving features to help extend
battery life. If no buttons are pressed for 10 minutes, the LCD display will
automatically switch off. To re-activate the display at any time, briefly press
the ‘Power’ button once. If no buttons are pressed for 30 minutes, your S210
will automatically power off completely. Press the ‘Power’ button to re-start
the unit.
Mounting your Shotsaver S210
The Shotsaver S210 has been designed to be small
enough to fit in your pocket, but also comes with a
strap loop and Karabiner so that it can be hung from
your golf bag.
Your Shotsaver S210 can also be mounted on our
specially designed Shotsaver golf trolley bracket.
Shotsaver trolley brackets are available separately.

Updating your Shotsaver S210
Your S210 comes preloaded with over 5000 golf courses, so is ready to use
out of the box. However as new courses are added or if any amendments
are made to existing courses in the database, you can update your S210
Shotsaver with the latest database available using the software supplied on
the CD Rom included. Please note you will need a PC with Windows 2000, XP,
Vista or Windows 7 and an internet connection.
To update your unit put the CD into your PC and follow the on-screen
instructions.
Registering your unit
Register your unit online at www.snooperneo.co.uk. Once your unit is
registered you will be able to update the golf course database on your unit
using the software provided on the software CD.
