the air inlet and exhaust grilles are not blocked or restricted in anyway.
• Allow 300mm of clearance around the unit.
• Do not spray water on the unit as this may cause irreparable damage to the unit
and the risk of electric shock.
• Do not unplug the unit from the mains socket with wet hands.
• Switch o the power before removing the plug from the mains socket.
• To disconnect the power, grip the plug and pull it out from the mains socket.
NEVER pull the mains cable.
• Empty the water when the water tank is full or the unit is not in use for a
prolonged period.
• Do not push any objects in the air inlet and exhaust grilles.
• This appliance is intended for indoor household use and similar applications such
as:
– farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type
environments;
– bed and breakfast type environments;
– catering and similar non-retail applications.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
• Children should be supervised so that they do not play with the mains cable.
• The unit must have 30cm minimum clearance around combustible surfaces.
• If the mains cable is damaged, do not use the appliance. Ensure the appliance is

Before Use
1. Place on a stable, at oor. If the oor surface is not even:
• Vibration and noise will occur.
• Water may leak from the water tank.
2. Make sure the air openings are clear and free from blockage.
Operation
1. Connect to the mains socket.
2. Press
to switch the unit on or o.
3. Open the air outlet ap. Remember to close the ap when not using the unit.
4. Press
repeatedly to set the desired room humidity. When the environment humidity
is lower than the set humidity, the unit will stop automatically. You can also select to
dehumidify continuously by selecting “CONT”.
5. If you need to set auto shut o, press
repeatedly.
Water Tank Full
When the water tank is full, the unit will beep. The WATER FULL indicator will illuminate and the
unit will automatically stop operating.
• Turn o the unit and remove the water tank.
• Empty the water and then ret the water tank.
• Turn the unit on again to continue operation.
Auto-Defrost
When using the appliance in low temperature environments, frost may build up inside the unit.
The unit has an automatic defrosting function and will automatically activate defrost mode. The
DEFROST indicator will illuminate.
To obtain the best results, avoid opening windows and doors.
Continuous Draining
Water can be automatically emptied into a oor
drain by attaching a water hose (not included) to the
unit.
Insert the water hose (not included) into the
drain outlet as shown. Place or connect the other end of
the hose to a suitable drainage facility.
The hose level must be lower than the drain outlet, see diagrams below. When the hose
is not being used, remove the hose from the drain outlet.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Maintenance of your air lter
The air lter of the unit collects dust contained in the air. The build up of dust reduces the
eciency of the unit. To prevent the dust from clogging up the unit, always use it with the air
lter in place.
Always clean the air lter every 2 weeks. If the unit is used in a dusty atmosphere, clean the air
lter more often.
• Remove the air lter.
• Clean the air lter with a vacuum cleaner. lf the air lter is very dirty, you can wash it in warm
water (never use hot or soapy water). Make sure that the air lter is dry and retted correctly.
Do not bend the lter and ensure it is tted before operating the unit.
Cleaning the unit
• Clean the unit using a damp sponge, and dry it with a clean, soft cloth.
• Never use alcohol or any product containing solvents.
• Do not immerse the unit in water.
