i3 International iS28 is a GbE iSCSI to SATA II/III Chassis that allows you to connect up to 32 IP cameras with IP addresses 192.0.0.xx or 192.168.0.xx to your DVR system. It has four network interfaces, two of which are used to connect to the DVR system, and the other two are used to connect to the iSCSI storage. The iS28 supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10, and it can be configured using either the web GUI or the command-line interface.

Add to Bridge: Select Network3 and Network4. Right-click Æ Bridge Connections
Config Network Bridge: Right-click Network Bridge Æ Properties

CONFIG NETWORK ON iSCSI SYSTEM
After you turn on the iS28, there will be an IP address (e.g. 192.168.xxx.xxx) shown
on the LCD in front of the iS28 enclosure.
Open a web browser (Internet Explorer…etc.), and key in the IP address shown on
the LCD into the web browser, and press enter.
The entry screen of the web GUI will be shown. Key in the default user name and
password. The default user name is: admin, and the default password is: 1234,
and then press Login.
Select iSCSI configuration on the left menu Æ NIC

METHOD 1: QUICK INSTALLATION
1) Connect to Web GUI 2) Select Quick Installation Æ on the RAID level
drop-down list, select RAID6. Click Confirm to continue
Click Confirm to continue

Click the option button in virtual disk No. field. Select Attach LUN
Input Host (iSCSI node Name):
+ *”: to allow all machines to use this iSCSI system
+<Initiator Name>: single machine with name <Initiator Name> can use this iSCSI
system.
Click Confirm

Note: Access Start Æ Control Panel Æ Administrative Tools Æ iSCSI Initiator Æ
tab Configuration to get “Initiator Name”
Setup is complete.

Connect by Web GUI. Select Volume Configuration on left menu Æ RAID group
Input Name Æ on RAID level drop-down list select RAID 6 Æ Click the Select PD

Check all disks. Click Confirm to confirm the selections.
Click Next to continue

Click Confirm
Click Create to finish configuring the RAID group

Click Virtual disk on the left menu Æ Click the Create button
Enter a Name for the virtual disk
A dialog box will appear. Click OK
Click the option button in virtual disk No. field. Select Attach LUN

Setup is now complete

ATTACH iSCSI STORAGE TO DVR SYSTEM
Go to Start Menu Æ Control Panel Æ Administrative Tools Æ iSCSI Initiator

Select Discovery tab
Click Discover Portal. A dialog box will appear. Enter IP and Port of NIC1
