Door Gasket in UC
Model
Undercounter double range (LS6E/WT30E).
Problem
The display isn’t clear because of water condensation on control panel due to
steam leak from door.
Reason
The door system isn’t perfectly steam-tight.
Action in
Factory
Since serial number 42100001 we have introduced the shorter door gasket
049892 (h = 50 mm) instead of 049932 (h = 315 mm) so that the closing door
angle, and then the gap between door and frame, is smaller.
OLD NEW
Steam leak is sometime due to door misalignment. For this reason from serial
number 34500001 we have introduced calibrated door hinges that guarantee
less dimensional tolerance, then less backlash, then less misalignment.
Action in
Field
The “new” door gasket (already being used in WT38USPH) is perfectly
interchangeable toward the previous one.
The present modification/upgrade can be retrofitted and it is not mandatory
