Introduction

Congratulations on the purchase of your new

appliance.

You have selected a high-quality product. The ope-

rating instructions are a constituent of this product.

They contain important information about safety,

usage and disposal. Before using the product, fami-

liarise yourself with all of the operating and safety

instructions. Use the product only as described and

for the specified usage areas. Keep these operating

instructions in a safe place. Please also pass these

operating instructions on to any future owner(s).

Intended use

The appliance is intended for the extraction of juices

from citrus fruits such as oranges and lemons. Only

foodstuffs may be processed with the appliance. All

other usages or modifications are regarded as contra-

ry to the operating instructions and contain a great risk

of accidents. The manufacturer accepts no liability

for damage(s) resulting from usage that is contrary

to these instructions. Not for commercial use.

Important safety instructions

Danger – electric shock!

• The rating of the local power supply must tally completely with the details given

on the rating plate of the appliance.

• Arrange for defective power plugs and/or cables to be replaced at once by

qualified technicians or our Customer Service Department.

• Arrange for damaged or malfunctioning appliances to be inspected and/or

repaired by a qualified specialist or the Customer Service Department as soon

as possible.

• Do not expose the appliance to rain and never use it in a humid or wet envi-

ronment. Ensure that the power cable never becomes moist or wet during

operation.

Warning - Risk of injury!

• Never use the appliance for purposes other than those described in these

instructions.

• Before replacing any accessories or additional parts that move during operation,

the appliance must be switched off and disconnected from the mains power.

• The appliance should always be disconnected from the mains when it is not

being supervised and prior to assembly, dismantling or cleaning.

• This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years or over if they are

supervised or have been told how to use the appliance safely and are aware

of the potential risks.

• User cleaning and maintenance may not be carried out by children unless they

are 8 years old or older and are supervised.

• The appliance and its connecting cable must be kept away from children younger

than 8 years old.

• This appliance may be used by people with reduced physical, sensory or

mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are super-

vised and have been instructed in how to use the appliance safely and have

understood the potential risks.

• Children must not play with the appliance.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• Provide for a safe and slip-free positioning of the appliance.

• Ensure that the power plug is easily accessible in the event of danger, and that

there is no danger of anyone tripping over the power cable.

Using the appliance safely:

• In the event of danger, immediately remove the power plug from the wall socket.

• Do not use the appliance outdoors.

4. Place both parts of the fruit pulp sieve

into each other so that the fruit pulp regulator

protrudes through the recess. Both parts must

audibly engage.

5. Place the assembled fruit pulp sieve

the juice collector

. The fruit pulp regulator

must lie on the grip and catch in the rabbet on

the grip.

6. Press the small squeezing cone

on the drive

axle

so that it engages.

Note:

If you want to press oranges or other larger fruits,

place the large squeezing cone

over the small

squeezing cone

. Ensure that the lobes of the

small squeezing cone

engage in the recesses of

the large squeezing cone

7. Insert the power plug into a wall power socket.

The appliance is now ready for use.

Set-up and assembly of the

appliance

Caution:

Ensure that the power plug is not in the power

socket before assembling the appliance. Otherwise

there is a risk that the appliance could start

unintentionally.

1. Unwind the power cable

completely from the

cable storage

and secure it in the lateral

recess on the appliance plinth

2. Place the appliance plinth

on a level and

slipfree surface.

Note:

Rinse all removable components thoroughly before

the first usage of the appliance (see chapter

"Cleaning and care").

3. Place the juice collector

on the drive axle

of the appliance plinth

and turn it clockwise

as far as it will go.

Juice extraction

Note:

When pressing out juice, do not exceed the 600 ml

volume marking on the scale of the juice collector

1. Adjust the fruit pulp regulator

, by sliding it, so

that the slits in the fruit pulp sieve

lie

exactly above each other if you wish to have fru-

it juice with fruit pulp. Adjust the fruit pulp regula-

tor

, by sliding it, so that the slits in the fruit

pulp sieve

are not lying above each other

if you do not wish to have fruit juice with fruit pulp.

2. Cut the fruits in half (orange, lemon etc.)

3. Press the halved fruit lightly onto the squeezing

cone

. The appliance switches itself on

automatically as soon as the squeezing cone

is pressed down.

4. Apply pressure at various parts of the fruit rind

with your fingers. Thereby the juice will be even-

ly squeezed out of the fruit.

5. When no more juice flows from the fruit, stop

applying pressure to the squeezing cone

The appliance stops.

6. Press the squeezing cone

down repeated-

ly to loosen it, until it turns in the opposite

direction.

7. When no more juice flows from the fruit, stop

applying pressure to the squeezing cone

The appliance stops. Remove the fruit skin from

the squeezing cone

8. Continue similarly with further fruit-halves until

you have squeezed out the desired volume of

fruit juice. The current volume squeezed can be

read off from the scale on the side of the juice

collector

Emptying

Caution:

Remove the power plug from the wall socket when

you empty the fruit pulp sieve

or the juice

collector

. Otherwise there is a risk that the appli-

ance could start unintentionally.

• Turn the juice collector

anti-clock-wise until the

perceptible resistance desists. You can now lift it

from the drive axle

and pour the juice out.

Disassembly

If you wish to disassemble the Citrus Press, e.g. for

the cleaning of it, proceed as follows:

1. Remove the power plug from the wall socket

2. Remove the squeezing cone

3. Remove the fruit pulp sieve

Press the hook on the underside of the upper fruit

pulp sieve

inwards. At the same time exert

light pressure on the fruit pulp sieve

. The com-

ponents allow themselves to be pressed apart.

4. Turn the juice catchment container

anti-

clockwise until the perceptible resistance

diminishes. You can now lift it from the drive

axle

Cleaning and Care

Caution:

Always remove the power plug from the wall socket

before cleaning the appliance. There is a risk of

receiving an electric shock!

Caution:

To avoid receiving an electrical shock, NEVER

submerse the appliance plinth

in water or other

fluids.

• Disassemble the Citrus Press as described in the

chapter "Disassembly".

• Clean the appliance plinth

only with a slightly

moistened cloth.

• Clean all other removable parts in a warm mild-

detergent solution and dry them carefully.

• To clean the fruit pulp sieve

, take it apart

and clean it with a dishwashing brush under

running water.

Note:

Do not use aggressive detergents to clean the

appliance. These substances can attack the upper

surfaces.

The appliance and its components may not be

cleaned in a dishwasher or in boiling water.

Storage

If you do not intend to use the appliance for an

extended period, wrap the power cable

around

the power cable storage

, directing the end of the

cable through the lateral recess on the appliance

plinth

. Assemble the appliance completely and

close the lid. Store the appliance at a clean and dry

location.

Disposal

Do not dispose of the appliance in your

normal domestic waste. This product is

subject to the European guideline

2012/19/EU.

Dispose of the appliance through an approved dis-

posal centre or at your community waste facility.

Observe the currently applicable regulations.

In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal

centre.

Dispose of all packaging materials in an

environmentally responsible manner.

Warranty & Service

The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from

the date of purchase. The appliance has been

manufactured with care and meticulously examined

before delivery.

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In

the event of a warranty claim, please make contact

by telephone with our Service Department. Only in

this way can a post-free despatch for your goods be

assured.

The warranty covers only claims for material and

maufacturing defects, but not for transport damage,

for wearing parts or for damage to fragile compo-

nents, e.g. buttons or batteries. This product is for

private use only and is not intended for commercial

use. The warranty is void in the case of abusive and

improper handling, use of force and internal tampe-

ring not carried out by our authorized service branch.

Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by

this warranty.

The warranty period will not be extended by repairs

made under warranty. This applies also to replaced

and repaired parts. Any damage and defects extant

on purchase must be reported immediately after un-

packing the appliance, at the latest, two days after

the purchase date. Repairs made after the expiration

of the warranty period are subject to payment.

Συγχαρητήρια για την αγορά της νέας σας

συσκευής.

Αποφασίσατε έτσι για την απόκτηση ενός προϊόντος

υψηλής ποιότητας. Οι οδηγίες χρήσης είναι τμήμα

αυτού του προϊόντος. Περιέχουν σημαντικές

υποδείξεις για την ασφάλεια, τη χρήση και την

απόρριψη. Πριν από τη χρήση του προϊόντος,

εξοικειωθείτε με όλες τις υποδείξεις χειρισμού και

ασφάλειας. Χρησιμοποιείτε το προϊόν μόνο όπως

Σημαντικές υποδείξεις ασφαλείας

Κίνδυνος ηλεκτροπληξίας!

• Η τάση της πηγής ρεύματος πρέπει να συμφωνεί με τα στοιχεία επάνω στην

πινακίδα τύπου της συσκευής.

• Τα βύσματα ή καλώδια δικτύου με βλάβη πρέπει να αντικαθίστανται αμέσως

από εξουσιοδοτημένο ειδικό προσωπικό ή από το τμήμα εξυπηρέτησης

πελατών, ώστε να αποφεύγονται κίνδυνοι.

• Δίδετε τις συσκευές, οι οποίες δεν λειτουργούν άψογα ή έχουν βλάβη, απευθείας

στην εξυπηρέτηση πελατών για εξέταση και επισκευή.

• Μην εκθέτετε τη συσκευή στη βροχή και ποτέ μην την χρησιμοποιείτε σε υγρό ή

βρεγμένο περιβάλλον. Προσέχετε ώστε το καλώδιο δικτύου κατά τη διάρκεια της

λειτουργίας να μην βρέχεται ή να μην είναι υγρό.

Προειδοποίηση - Κίνδυνος τραυματισμού!

• Μη χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή για άλλους σκοπούς από τους περιγραφόμενους

στις παρούσες οδηγίες.

• Πριν από την αντικατάσταση αξεσουάρ ή επιπρόσθετων εξαρτημάτων, τα οποία

κινούνται κατά τη λειτουργία, η συσκευή πρέπει να απενεργοποιηθεί και να

αποσυνδεθεί από το δίκτυο.

• Η συσκευή πρέπει να αποσυνδέεται πάντα από το δίκτυο όταν δεν επιτηρείται

και πριν από τη συναρμολόγηση, την αποσυναρμολόγηση ή τον καθαρισμό.

• Μπορεί να γίνεται χρήση αυτής της συσκευής από παιδιά άνω των 8 ετών,

• Ο καθαρισμός και η συντήρηση χρήστη δεν επιτρέπεται να διεξάγονται από

• Η συσκευή και το καλώδιο σύνδεσής της πρέπει να φυλάσσονται μακριά από

παιδιά κάτω των 8 ετών.

• Μπορεί να γίνεται χρήση αυτής της συσκευής από άτομα με μειωμένες φυσικές,

αισθητηριακές ή νοητικές ικανότητες ή με έλλειψη εμπειρίας και/ή γνώσεων,

• Τα παιδιά πρέπει να επιτηρούνται ώστε να εξασφαλίζεται ότι δεν παίζουν με τη

συσκευή.

• Φροντίστε για μια ασφαλή και μη ολισθηρή θέση της συσκευής.

• Φροντίστε ώστε το βύσμα να είναι εύκολα προσβάσιμο σε περίπτωση κινδύνου

και το καλώδιο να μην γίνει αιτία για να σκοντάψετε.

Έτσι θα συμπεριφέρεστε με ασφάλεια:

• Σε περίπτωση κινδύνου τραβήξτε αμέσως το βύσμα από την πρίζα.

• Μη χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή σε εξωτερικό χώρο.

Τοποθέτηση και μοντάρισμα

συσκευής

Προσοχή:

Βεβαιωθείτε ότι το φις έχει αποσυνδεθεί από την πρίζα

προτού συναρμολογήσετε τη συσκευή. Αλλιώς υπάρχει

ο κίνδυνος η συσκευή να ξεκινήσει μη ηθελημένα.

1. Ξετυλίξτε το καλώδιο δικτύου

πλήρως από τη

διάταξη τύλιξης καλωδίου

και σταθεροποιήστε το

με την πλαϊνή εγκοπή στη βάση της συσκευής

2. Τοποθετήστε τη βάση της συσκευής

σε μία

οριζόντια και μη ολισθηρή επιφάνεια

Υπόδειξη!

Ξεπλύντε επιμελώς όλα τα αφαιρούμενα μέρη πριν από

την πρώτη χρήση (βλέπε κεφάλαιο "Καθαρισμός και

συντήρηση")

3. Τοποθετήστε το δοχείο λήψης χυμού

στον

άξονα κίνησης

της βάσης συσκευής

και

στρέψτε δεξιόστροφα μέχρι το τέρμα.

4. Τοποθετήστε και τα δύο μέρη της σήτας φαγώσιμου

μέρους

το ένα μέσα στο άλλο έτσι ώστε

ο ρυθμιστής φαγώσιμου μέρους

να προεξέχει

μέσω της εγκοπής. Και τα δύο μέρη πρέπει να

ασφαλίσουν με έναν ήχο.

5. Τοποθετήστε τη συναρμολογημένη σήτα φαγώσιμου

μέρους

στο δοχείο λήψης χυμού

Ο ρυθμιστής φαγώσιμου μέρους

πρέπει να

ακουμπά στη χειρολαβή και να πιάνει στην

εγκοπή αυτής

6. Τοποθετήστε κατά τέτοιο τρόπο το μικρό κώνο

στυψίματος

στον άξονα κίνησης

, έτσι

ώστε αυτός να ασφαλίσει.

Υπόδειξη!

Όταν θέλετε να στύψετε πορτοκάλια ή άλλα μεγάλα

φρούτα τοποθετήστε τον μεγάλο κώνο στυψίματος

πάνω από τον μικρό κώνο στυψίματος.

. Προσέξτε

ότι οι προεξοχές του μικρού κώνου στυψίματος

πρέπει να πιάνουν στις εγκοπές του μεγάλου κώνου

στυψίματος

7. Εισάγετε το βύσμα σε μια πρίζα δικτύου.

Η συσκευή είναι έτοιμη για λειτουργία.

Δημιουργία χυμού

Υπόδειξη!

Μη στύβετε περισσότερο χυμό από το σημάδι των

600 ml στην κλίμακα του δοχείου λήψης χυμού

1. Τοποθετήστε το ρυθμιστή φαγώσιμου μέρους

μέσω ώθησης έτσι ώστε οι εγκοπές στη σήτα

φαγώσιμου μέρους

να ακουμπούν η μία

πάνω από την άλλη όταν θέλετε χυμό μαζί με

φαγώσιμο μέρος από το φρούτο. Τοποθετήστε το

ρυθμιστή φαγώσιμου μέρους

μέσω ώθησης

έτσι ώστε οι εγκοπές στη σήτα φαγώσιμου μέρους

να μην ακουμπούν η μία πάνω από την

άλλη όταν θέλετε χυμό χωρίς φαγώσιμο μέρος.

2. Κόψτε στη μέση το φρούτο (πορτοκάλι, λεμόνι

κ.λ.π.).

3. Πιέστε το κομμένο στο ήμισυ φρούτο, ελαφρά

στον κώνο στυψίματος

. Η συσκευή ξεκινά

αυτόματα όσο ο κώνος στυψίματος

πιέζεται προς τα κάτω.

4. Εξασκήστε πίεση με τα δάχτυλα σε διαφορετικές

θέσεις του φρούτου, επάνω στο φλοιό. Με αυτό

τον τρόπο στύβεται ο χυμός από το φρούτο

ομοιόμορφα.

5. Όταν δεν βγαίνει από το φρούτο άλλος χυμός,

τότε δεν πρέπει να εξασκήσετε άλλη πίεση στον

κώνο στυψίματος

. Η συσκευή σταματά.

6. Πιέστε τον κώνο στυψίματος

τόσο συχνά

προς τα κάτω και λασκάρετε την πίεση μέχρι να

στραφεί προς την άλλη κατεύθυνση.

7. Όταν δεν βγαίνει άλλος χυμός από το φρούτο,

τότε μην εξασκείτε άλλη πίεση στον κώνο

στυψίματος

. Η συσκευή σταματά. Αφαιρέστε

το φλοιό από τον κώνο στυψίματος

8. Προχωρήστε με τα υπόλοιπα μισά φρούτων με τον

ίδιο τρόπο μέχρι να έχετε στύψει την επιθυμούμενη

ποσότητα.Η στημένη ποσότητα μπορεί να διαβαστεί

στην κλίμακα του δοχείου λήψης χυμού

Άδειασμα

Προσοχή:

Αποσυνδέστε το φις όταν θέλετε να αδειάσετε τη

σήτα φαγώσιμου μέρους του φρούτου

ή το

δοχείο λήψης χυμού

. Αλλιώς υπάρχει ο κίνδυνος

• Στρέψτε το δοχείο λήψης χυμού

αριστερόστροφα

έως ότου μειωθεί η αντίσταση που αισθάνεστε.

Τότε μπορείτε να το αφαιρέσετε από τον άξονα

κίνησης

και να σερβίρετε το χυμό.

Αποσυναρμολόγιση

Όταν θέλετε να αποσυναρμολογήσετε τη συσκευή

π.χ. για να την καθαρίσετε, τότε η διαδικασία είναι

η εξής:

1. Αποσυνδέστε το φις

2. Αφαιρέστε τον κώνο στυψίματος

3. Αφαιρέστε τη σήτα φαγώσιμου μέρους του

φρούτου

. Πιέστε τα άγκιστρα στην κάτω

πλευρά της άνω σήτας φαγώσιμου μέρους του

φρούτου

προς τα έξω. Την ίδια στιγμή

εξασκήστε ελαφρά πίεση στον ρυθμιστή

φαγώσιμου μέρους του φρούτου

. Μπορείτε

και τα δύο μέρη να τα πιέσετε προς τα έξω.

4. Στρέψατε το δοχείο συγκέντρωσης χυμού

αριστερόστροφα μέχρι να μειωθεί η αισθητή

αντίσταση. Τώρα μπορείτε να το σηκώσετε από

τον άξονα κίνησης

Καθαρισμός και συντήρηση

Προσοχή:

Τραβήξτε το φις από την πρίζα προτού καθαρίσετε

τη συσκευήΥπάρχει κίνδυνος ηλεκτροπληξίας!

Προσοχή:

Ποτέ μη βυθίζετε τη βάση της συσκευής

στο νερό

ή σε άλλο υγρό για να αποφύγετε ηλεκτροπληξία.

• Αποσυναρμολογήστε τη συσκευή όπως

περιγράφεται στο κεφάλαιο "Αποσυναρμολόγηση".

• Καθαρίστε τη βάση της συσκευής

με ένα

ελαφρά υγρό πανί.

• Καθαρίστε όλα τα άλλα αφαιρούμενα μέρη με

ζεστό νερό με σαπούνι και ξεπλύνετε τα προσεκτικά.

• Για να καθαρίσετε τη σήτα φαγώσιμου μέρους

βγάλτε την έξω και καθαρίστε τη με μία

βούρτσα σε τρεχούμενο νερό.

Υπόδειξη!

Μη χρησιμοποιείτε δυνατά μέσα καθαρισμού για να

καθαρίσετε τη συσκευή. Σε άλλη περίπτωση μπορεί

η επιφάνεια να προσβληθεί.

Δεν επιτρέπεται η συσκευή και τα μέρη αυτής να

καθαριστούν σε πλυντήριο πιάτων ή σε βραστό νερό.

Φύλαξη

Όταν δε χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή για μεγάλο χρονικό

διάστημα τυλίξτε το καλώδιο δικτύου

στη διάταξη

τύλιξης

και οδηγήστε το τέλος αυτού μέσω της

πλαϊνής προεξοχής στη βάση της συσκευής

Τοποθετήστε τη συσκευή σε πλήρη σύνθεση και

κλείστε το καπάκι.

Φυλάξτε τη συσκευή σε ένα καθαρό και στεγνό

μέρος.

Απομάκρυνση

Σε καμία περίπτωση μην πετάξετε τη συσκευή

στα οικιακά απορρίμματα. Αυτό το προϊόν

υπόκειται στην Ευρωπαϊκή Οδηγία

2012/19/EU.

Απομακρύνετε τη συσκευή μέσω μιας εγκεκριμένης

επιχείρησης απόρριψης ή μέσω της κοινοτικής

επιχείρησης απόρριψης.

Να τηρείτε τους ισχύοντες κανονισμούς.

Σε περίπτωση αμφιβολιών ελάτε σε επαφή με την

επιχείρηση απόρριψης.

Απομακρύνετε όλα τα υλικά συσκευασιών

φιλικά προς το περιβάλλον.

Εγγύηση και σέρβις

Έχετε για αυτή τη συσκευή 3 χρόνια εγγύηση από

την ημερομηνία αγοράς. Η συσκευή κατασκευάστηκε

και ελέγχθηκε προσεκτικά πριν από την αποστολή.

Παρακαλούμε φυλάξτε την απόδειξη ταμείου ως

απόδειξη για την αγορά. Παρακαλούμε

επικοινωνήστε τηλεφωνικά με την υπηρεσία σέρβις

σε περίπτωση εγγύησης. Μόνο έτσι μπορεί να

εξασφαλιστεί μια δωρεάν αποστολή του

εμπορεύματός σας.

Η απόδοση εγγύησης ισχύει μόνο για σφάλματα

υλικού ή κατασκευής, όχι όμως για ζημιές από τη

μεταφορά, για εξαρτήματα φθοράς ή για βλάβες σε

εύθραυστα εξαρτήματα, π.χ. διακόπτες ή

συσσωρευτές. Το προϊόν προορίζεται μόνο για την

ιδιωτική και όχι για την επαγγελματική χρήση.

Σε περίπτωση κακής μεταχείρισης και ακατάλληλης

χρήσης, σε χρήση βίας και σε παρεμβάσεις οι οποίες

δεν διεξήχθησαν από το εξουσιοδοτημένο μας τμήμα

σέρβις, η εγγύηση παύει να ισχύει. Τα νομικά σας

δικαιώματα δεν περιορίζονται μέσω αυτής της

εγγύησης.

Ο χρόνος εγγύησης δεν επεκτείνεται μέσω της

απόδοσης εγγύησης. Αυτό ισχύει και για

εξαρτήματα τα οποία έχουν αντικατασταθεί ή

επισκευαστεί. Ενδεχόμενες ήδη υπάρχουσες κατά

την αγορά, ζημιές και ελλείψεις πρέπει να

αναφέρονται αμέσως μετά την αποσυσκευασία, το

αργότερο όμως δύο ημέρες μετά την ημερομηνία

αγοράς. Επισκευές που εμφανίζονται μετά τη λήξη

του χρόνου εγγύησης χρεώνονται.
