Introduction

This manual describes the installation of the following mounting options:

Desktop stand

Dual Display Adapter

Pole Mount

About This Manual

This manual informs you about everything you might need to know for the

installation of the mounting options of your BA9x.

Notes in the manual are marked by this symbol.

This symbol is used for warnings.

Unpacking And Checking the Delivery Unit

Unpack the parts and check to see whether the delivery matches the

information on the delivery note. The delivery comprises the respec-

tive screen module. Data cables, necessary for operation, can be or-

dered separately. lf damage has occurred during shipping or if the

package contents do not match the delivery note, immediately inform

your Diebold Nixdorf sales outlet.

Transport the device only in its original packaging (to protect it

against impact and shock).

Desktop stand

The BA9x desktop stand offers maximum stability for touch application with a small

footprint at the POS.

lnstalling the display to a stand

Take the stand and the monitor out of the packaging. For installation you

will need a Torx screwdriver to loosen and tighten the screws!

Preparing the stand

From the stand:

1. Remove the base

cover.

2. Remove the back

cover.

3. Remove the VESA

cover.

Preparing the display

1. Place a piece of protection

sheet on a flat surface e.g.

a table.

2. Lay the display face down

on the protection sheet.

3. Tighten the four screws

half way through.

4. Remove the cable cover at

the bottom of the display.

5. Plug in cable.

6. Place back the cable cover

at the bottom of the dis-

play.

7. Pull the cable through the

opening of the cable cov-

er.

Installing the stand

1. Bring the display into a posi-

tion above the stand.

2. Place the screws (that were

previously tightened half-

way through) in the two U-

shaped grooves on the

frame of the stand.

3. Tighten the four Torx screws

to secure the display to the

stand.

4. Place in the VESA cover.

5. Place in the back cover,

routing the cable through

the bottom.

6. Place in the base cover. The

installation is complete.

When uninstalling the stand always make sure that all cables are

disconnected.

Dual Display

As a dual screen solution, it is possible to mount a second display to the back of

the main display with the help of a dual display adapter.

Overview of possible combinations:

Dual display adapter

You will need a dual display adapter to install a second display to the main

dispaly. The dual display adapter kit (WN part number: 01750261948)

consists of the following parts:

Preparing the VESA bracket for 100 x 100 mounting

The VESA bracket provided with the dual display adapter kit is designed

for 75x75 mounting. You will need to add in the right and left plates for

100x100 mounting.

Follow the following steps to install the right and left plates to the VESA

bracket:

Attach two screws (provi

adapter kit) at the top and

tighten.

Installing a second display to a main display

Take the dual display adapter kit and the main display out of the packag-

ing. For installation you will need a Torx screwdriver to loosen and tighten

the screws!

Follow the following steps to install :

2. Lay the main display (2)

face down on the protec-

tion sheet.

3. Remove the two screws (3)

at the top.

4. Loosen the two screws (4)

at the bottom.

Secure the

VESA bracket

There are two types of

VESA mounting: 75x75 and

100x100.

For 75x75 mounting, slide

in the VESA bracket and se-

cure the four scews

For 100x100 mounting,

slide in the VESA bracket

(pre-installed with the left

and right plates) and tight-

en the four scews

8. Route the cables for the

second display between

the main display and the

stand as indicated by the

arrow.
