Toro Smart Connect Wireless Weather Sensor Toro Smart Connect Wireless Weather Sensor will help you save water and keep your lawn looking its best. It does this by monitoring the temperature and sunlight and using that information to adjust the watering schedule of your Toro EVOLUTION® Series controller. The sensor is also equipped with a rain sensor that will automatically suspend irrigation in the event of precipitation.

The Toro Smart Connect Wireless Weather Sensor is easy to install and use. It comes with a QuickClip™ mounting arm that makes it easy to attach to a gutter or wall. The sensor is also completely wireless, so there are no wires to run.

Installed in minutes and powered by a single 9V
battery, the sensor presents ultimate flexibility with a
communication range of 1,000 feet.*
Historical Weather Information
The sensor includes a decades’ worth of historical
weather data for North America that is used by the
controller to generate schedule adjustments in the event
of communication issues due to a depleted battery.
No Fees
The sensor is self-sucient and does not require any
external data, or associated subscription fees, to operate.

The Toro

Wireless ET Weather Sensor makes saving water easy through the automatic management of the
irrigation schedule. Combining real-time temperature and sunlight measurements with location-based ET
(evapotranspiration) data, the Wireless ET Weather Sensor wirelessly communicates seasonal adjustments to
the EVOLUTION
®
Series controller. The EVOLUTION controller uses the information to automatically adjust the
scheduled runtimes, helping to ensure the landscape receives just the right amount of water.
