Before use
Wipe off the plates with a damp cloth and lubricate with some cooking grease
before you use the wafe maker for the rst time. Do not eat the rst two wafes.
Use
Plug the appliance to a wall outlet and the signal lamp surrounding the temperature
controller will turn orange. Set the wanted temperature by turning the temperature
button on top of the wafe maker to the wanted setting. Setting 1 corresponds
to low temperature (pale baking) and 5 corresponds to high temperature (darker
baking). We recommend that you try your way to get the result that you want.
When the set temperature has been reached, the signal lamp changes to green
and the appliance is ready for use.
Baking
Pour the batter in the centre of the lower plate and close the wafe maker. It is
important that the handles are not completely closed during baking, as this will
prevent the wafe from “fermenting”. The signal lamp may go on and off during
baking, which means that the correct temperature is maintained.

Baking time
The baking time depends on the batter and the degree of baking you want. When
you think that the wafe is done, open the appliance and lift the wafe with a
plastic or wooden utensil (metal could damage the coating). Put the wafe on
a grid to keep it crispy.
Cleaning
Always unplug after use and before cleaning.
Let the wafe maker cool completely before cleaning.
Only use a damp cloth and possibly with a little washing-up liquid for cleaning
the plates. Never use hard or sharp objects which may damage the coating.
Wipe the housing with a damp cloth.
Never immerse the appliance or the cord in water or any other liquid.
Basic recipe for crispy wafes
400 g wheat our
150 g sugar
175 g butter
6 dl milk
2 eggs
1.5 tsp baking powder
1.5 tsp vanilla sugar
Mix all the dry ingredients. Add milk and melted butter. Whip thoroughly and add
the eggs. You may use a hand mixer or an electric mixer. Let the butter rest at a
cool place for about 30 minutes before baking the wafes. The batter should be
thick. Bake the wafes and put them possibly on a grid. You get the best wafes
if you can eat them while they are still warm.
Disposal of the appliance
Legislation requires that all electrical and electronic equipment shall be
collected for reuse and recycling. Electrical and electronic equipment marked
with the symbol indicating separate collection of such equipment must be
returned to a municipal waste collection point.
Warranty
Warranty according to current law. Any claim shall be accompanied by the cash
receipt with purchase date. When raising a claim the appliance must be returned
to the store of purchase.
