Learning Resources , Inc. Table Top Game LER 1878 is a fast-paced color recognition and sorting game for 2 to 4 players ages 4 and up. Players take turns pushing down on the chicken's head to release eggs, which they then use their egg catchers to grab and sort into their baskets. The first player to fill their egg carton with a dozen eggs of the same color wins the game.

The game comes with a chicken, chicken coop, 4 egg catchers, 4 egg baskets, 6 dozen eggs, 4 egg cartons, and 12 double-sided color cards. The color cards are labeled and must be played in matching groups. Side "A" cards are easier, while side "B" cards are more challenging.

Setup
Choose a color egg basket. Take the matching egg catcher and egg
carton.
Take a card and place it firmly into your egg carton.
Note: The cards are labeled and must be played in matching groups.
Side “A” cards are easier. All players must play with the same number
and letter side of the card facing up. For example, for game one, each
player will use a card labeled 1A facing up in the egg carton.
