Repeater and Bridge Mode
Root AP Settings
Connect Root AP directly to the router with Ethernet cable
Click Wireless-----Click Basic Settings
Choose Repeater Mode (Bridge Mode)
Set SSID (Root AP)
Set Channel
Click Apply Changes
WDS Settings
Click Wireless------Click WDS Settings
Enable WDS
Enter MAC address of AP devices you wish to repeat.
**AP model 503082 requires both the Wireless MAC and the LAN MAC**
Root AP System Tab
Click Status ------ Click System
TCP Settings
Click TCP/IP
Enter network IP address for the AP
Default Gateway should match the IP address of your router
DHCP: Enable or Disable
Apply Changes (Please note the IP address before
selecting Apply Changes)
Repeater AP Device
Click Wireless ------- Click Basic Settings
Choose Repeater Mode or Bridge Mode
Set SSID (AP2) does not have to match the SSID of the Root AP.
Set Channel: Must match the Channel of the Root AP
Click Apply Changes
WDS Settings
Click Wireless ------ Click WDS Settings
Enable WDS
Enter MAC address of Root AP you wish to repeat the signal from
****AP model 503082 requires both the Wireless MAC and
the LAN MAC
TCP Settings
Click TCP/IP
Enter network IP address for the AP
Default Gateway should match the IP address of your router
DHCP: Enable or Disable
Repeater System Settings
Click Status
