HOW TO DETERMINE IF THE VEHICLE HAS ANALOG SWC:
Analog Steering Wheel Control (SWC) signal vehicles will have
wires populated and line up to the PINK and BLACK wire on the
24-Pin Crux connector.
If one wire is missing then you will need to use Crux part number
SWRFD-60.

1. Insert IS O brackets to rear of kit as shown in F igure A
2. Insert pocket into lower section of kit from rear & lock into s lots of mounting brackets .
3. Insert IS O mountable radio between IS O mount brackets and loos ely attach to sides
of radio us ing screws provided with radio when pos s ible or s crews supplied with kit.
4. S lide radio forward or backward for desired look and tighten s crews.
5. Attach a rear support bracket to the rear of the new radio and adjust as neces s ary
to s upport the weight of the radio (Optional)

1. Attach left and right mounting brackets to the kit as s hown in the figure below.
2. Insert IS O mountable radio between IS O mount brackets and loos ely attach to
sides of radio using screws provided with radio when pos sible
or s crews supplied with kit.
3. S lide radio forward or backward for desired look and tighten s crews.
4. S upport the rear of the radio component with back strap (optional).

1. Open the s torage compartment located above the R adio/Vent trim bezel.
2. S tarting from the top edge and working your way down the s ides toward the bottom,
carefully pry the R adio/C limate control trim bezel forward, disconnect all harness es
from the rear of the trim bezel and remove bezel.
3. R emove the (4) 9/32 screws securing the radio to the sub-dash. C arefully pull
radio forward, disconnect all harnes ses and antenna lead and remove radio.

1. C arefully unclip and remove the radio/climate control trim bezel from around the
factory radio.
2. Disconnect the harness es from the rear of the radio/climate control bezel and
remove bezel.
3. R emove the (4) 9/32 screws securing the factory radio to the s ub-das h.
4. C arefully pull radio forward, disconnect the wire harnes s and antenna lead from the
factory radio and remove radio.

1. E ngage the parking brake.
2. F or Automatic Trans mis s ion Vehicles only, insert key into the ignition and turn to the
ON position and depress the brake pedal, (DO NO T S TAR T T HE VE HIC LE !) then
place the shift lever into the lowest position.
3. Lower the steering column all the way down.
4. S tarting at the top edge of the das h trim bezel, carefully unclip and pull forward the
dash trim bezel to acces s all the wire harnes s connectors attached to the features
on the rear of the trim bezel.
5. C arefully disconnect all the connectors on the back side of the das h trim bezel and
remove bezel.
6. R emove the (4) 9/32 screws securing the radio to the sub-dash.
7. C arefully pull radio forward, disconnect the wire harnes ses and antenna lead from
the rear of the radio and remove radio.

1. C arefully pry forward and unclip R adio/C limate control trim bezel and dis connect
the 12 Volt R eceptacle plug from the rear of the bezel.
2. Lay the trim bezel as sembly out of the way (Disconnecting the climate control cables
or harnes ses is not necess ary).
3. R emove the (4) 9/32 screws securing the radio to the sub-dash.
4. C arefully pull F actory radio forward, disconnect the wire harnes s and antenna lead
from the rear of the radio and remove radio.

1. C arefully remove the trim from around the gearshift.
2. R emove the (2) Phillips s crews located under the center cons ole lid.
3. Lift up on the emergency brake and carefully remove the center console.
4. C arefully unclip and remove the trim panels at the left and right side of the radio.
5. R emove the (4) 9/32 screws securing the radio trim bezel to the sub-dash, carefully
pull trim bezel forward, disconnect all attached harnes ses and remove trim bezel.
6. R emove the (4) 9/32 screws securing the radio to the sub-dash, carefully pull radio
forward and disconnect all harnes s es and antenna lead and remove radio.

1. Open the center console and remove the (2) 9/32 screws from the center console
shifter trim.
2. C arefully lift up on the center console shifter trim and disconnect the 12 volt
receptacle harness and remove trim.
3. C arefully pry outward on the radio trim bezel to release the panel clips, then lift the
lower s ides upward and s lightly outward to clear the shift lever.
4. Disconnect all harness es from the radio trim bezel and remove bezel.
5. R emove the (4) 9/32 screws securing the radio to the sub-dash.
6. P ull radio forward, disconnect all harnes ses and antenna lead and remove radio.

2. R emove the (2) 9/32 screws securing the top of the radio/C limate control ass embly to
the s ub-dash.
3. C arefully pry the LOW E R 12 Volt/ US B / Auxiliary plug panel forward, disconnect all
attached harnesses and remove panel.
4. R emove the (2) 9/32 screws securing the lower edge of the R adio/C limate control
as sembly.
5. S et the parking brake.

6. R emove the shift lock cover and pres s the shift lock button down using a s mall
screwdriver or pen and depres s the brake pedal and move the shift lever
all the way to the rear.
7. C arefully pull the entire R adio/C limate control ass embly forward (you will need a
second person for the next step). B e careful not to scratch the s ides of the das h,
or the s hift lever.
8. R emove the (1) 5/16 bolt securing the G round strap to the right s ide of the
as sembly. P liers may be neces sary due to the s hort length of the strap.
9. P ull the entire ass embly forward and remove all attached harnes ses and antenna
leads and remove as s embly.
10. R emove the (4) 9/32 screws from the sub-dash to be able to mount the ins tall kit
into the das h location.

1. Open the ashtray/pocket below the climate controls.
2. F rom behind the auxiliary panel located to the right of the cigarette lighter, carefully
unclip and press the auxiliary panel forward to release, disconnect the attached
harnes ses(if applicable) and remove panel.(save for re-as sembly)
3. R emove the (1) 9/32 screw securing the lower edge of the radio/climate control trim bezel.
4. R emove the rubber mat located above the top edge of the radio trim bezel or fascia.
5. R emove the (2) 9/32 screws located under this mat.
6. Us ing a panel removal tool, carefully pry the left and right vent trim panels slightly
outward to allow the edges of the F ascia of the R adio/C limate control bezel to be
removed, (it is not necessary to remove the vent trims entirely).
7. C arefully unclip and remove the factory radio/climate control bezel, or fas cia.
8. R emove the (4) 9/32 screws securing the radio (or radio sub-chassis) to the sub-dash.
9. C arefully pull the radio forward, disconnect all attached harness es and antenna lead
and remove radio (or radio sub-chass is).
(Center Console shift Vehicles)
1. S et the P arking B ra ke.
2. Open the center console armrest lid and remove the (3) lower Torx screws securing
the lid/hinge ass embly to the pocket cavity of the center console.
3. C arefully unclip and remove the thin panel below the cigarette lighter.
4. F rom behind the auxiliary panel located to the right of the cigarette lighter, carefully
unclip and press the auxiliary panel forward to releas e, disconnect the attached
harnes ses(if applicable) and remove panel.(save for re-as sembly)
5. R emove the (1) 9/32 screw securing the lower edge of the radio/climate control trim bezel.
6. R emove the rubber mat located above the top edge of the radio fas cia.
7. R emove the (2) 9/32 s crews located under this mat.
8. Insert key into the ignition and turn to the O N pos ition, (DO NOT S TAR T the vehicle).
9. Depress the brake pedal and move the shift lever back.
10. Lift up and remove the shift trim/drink holder as sembly.
11. Starting from the rear top edge of the center console, carefully lift up and unclip the entire top
trim section that meets the lower edges of the C enter S tack Vent/radio side trim panels.
12. Using a panel removal tool, carefully pry the left and right vent trim panels s lightly
outward to allow the edges of the F as cia of the R adio/C limate control bezel to be
removed, (it is not necessary to remove the vent trims entirely).
13. C arefully unclip and remove the factory radio/climate control bezel, or fas cia.
14. R emove the (4) 9/32 screws s ecuring the radio (or radio sub-chassis) to the sub-dash.
15. C arefully pull the radio forward, disconnect all attached harness es and antenna lead
and remove radio (or radio sub-chass is).

1. Us ing a F lat blade screwdriver, insert the s crewdriver blade into the slots located on
the bottom edges of each the 12 Volt receptacle and S ync panels located below and
to the sides of the factory climate controls, gently pull each panel forward to release
and rest out of the way.
2. R emove the individual 9/32 screw located behind each panel removed in step 1 above.
3. C arefully pull the entire R adio/C limate C ontrol panel with Vents forward to releas e
and rest out of the way.
4. R emove the (4) 9/32 screws securing the radio to the sub-dash.
5. C arefully pull the radio forward, disconnect the attached wire harnesses and antenna
adapter and remove radio.
