door frame ⅜” from

the edge.

NOTE: Use the longer screws to mount the loop

portion on light-duty door frames and the medium-sized

screws on hardwood frames. Use the four smaller screws

to secure the arm unit on the door.

Use the Swing Bar Door

Guard on any door type,

except heavy-duty metal

and glass doors.

Minimum Door Jamb

Thickness: 4”

Minimum Door Thickness: 2”
