• Esc button starts u p the projector when iCon Server is logged on
• PiP commands via RS232 : layout control can now be achieved via RS232 (string must
be zero terminated)
Note that the projector will acknow ledge the command, even if the layout does not exist
(see RS232 manual)
• Network software (Server, Proximity, De s ktop integration) is uninstalled automatically
during upgrade
• Several memory leak problems (in firmware and server), slowing down the projector,
are solved
• Image files : the image files are automatically re-created after an upgrade
• Power box : improved stability ( upgrade procedure,...)
• iCon Server : can now be switched ON/OFF via RS232 commands
• Switch source command : bugs solved (mix up betwe en RGB/YUV and switch from com-
ponenttocompositevideoonthesamelayer)
• System and runtime file : a backup of this file is taken. This is an extra recovering
possibility : the validity of the XML file is checked if not valid, the backup file is used
• Pause : Pause state is reset before a startup (no black image at startup)
• Lamp serial number : now limited to 6 digits
Important note ! The RS232 connection for RS232 control is done on the
standard projector RS232 input (not on the Server RS232 input)

1.2 Upgrade to V1.21
Important note !
From now on (V1.21) the software (upgrade) files are made available on the TDE and the
PartnerZone as 2 different files :
•A.zip file containing the Client files : these fi
les must be installed on the client(s) (PC or
laptop). The zip file includes the C ontrol & Diagnostics Client file, the Dr opZone Client
file and the Proximity Desktop Client file
•A.zip file containing the “Server” files : these files must be installed on the projector
and its Server.
The zip file includes the projector Firmware file, the iCon Server software file and the
Proximity De sktop Server file
