• Readallinstructionsbeforeoperatingcontroller.

• Donotputyourcontrollerinanareawhereitcangetwetorsprayed.

• Mountyourcontrollersecurelytothewallusinghardwareprovided.

• Whenusing“bugbombs”inarea,covercontrollercompletelytoavoidcorrosion.

• Therearenoserviceablepartsincontroller.Donotattempttorepairtheunit.

• Breakingtamperproofsealwillvoidyourwarranty.

• Donotputpaperclips,tools,etc.intounit.Possibleelectrocutionmayoccur.

• Plugcontrollerintosurgeprotectortoavoidpotentialdamagetotheunit.

• Checkthatallequipmentthatwillbeactivatedbythiscontrolleristhepropervoltage(s).

Dealerwhereyoupurchasedit.Theymaybeabletofurtherevaluatetheunitandtestitsvarious

componentsandquitepossiblywillbeabletoidentifyand/orxanyproblems.IftheDealeris

unabletoxtheunit,theywillreturnittousforfactoryrepair.

IftherearenoDealersinyourarea,youmaycontactusdirectlyfortechnicalsupport.Ifwe

cannothelpyouresolvetheproblemoverthephone,wewillissueyouaReturnMerchandise

Authorization(RMA)numberauthorizingyoutoreturntheunittousforfactoryreconditioning

(ifthecontrolleriscurrentlyunderwarranty).ContactthenumberbelowforaRMAnumberand

shippingaddress.Pleasecompletetheformbelowandincludeitwithyourunit,andwritethe

RMAnumberclearlyontheoutsideofthebox.

Saturn™ 1 Temperature &

Humidity Controller Overview

TheSaturn™1isusedtoindependentlymaintainthetemperatureandhumiditylevelsin

yourgrowingenvironment.Boththetemperatureandhumiditycanbeadjustedbysetting

thedialsonthefrontofthecontrollertoyourpreferredsettings.Ifthetemperatureexceeds

thepredeterminedsetting,thenthe‘FANOUTLET’isactivatedandwilloperatetheexhaust

fanuntilthetemperatureislowerthanthepreferredsetpoint.Ifthehumidityexceeds

thepredeterminedsetting,thenthe‘HUMIDITYOUTLET’isactivatedandwilloperatethe

dehumidieruntilthehumidityisunderthepreferredsetpoint.Afterthetemperatureor

humidityhasloweredbelowthepreferredtemperatureorhumiditylevels,theequipment

willturnoffandbeonstandbyuntilthenexttemperatureorhumidityeventoccurs.The

Saturn™1operatesupto15ampsofmaximumcapacityonastandard120Voltcircuit.

Builtwiththehighestqualitycomponents,theSaturn™1willprovidetheuserwithyearsof

troublefreeservice.Controllerscreatedforourindustry,byourindustry!

Instructions for Operation

•SecurelymountyourSaturn™1inyourgrowareaandawayfromanymoisture,spray,

pesticides,etc.usingthemountingbracketsandhardwareprovided.

•Plugtheexhaustfanintothe‘FANOUTLET’.

•Turnthefan‘ON’tothefastestsettingpossible,ifadjustable.

•Plugthedehumidierintothe‘HUMIDITYOUTLET’

•Turnthedehumidier‘ON’tothelowestsetting.Thisallowsthecontrollertomaintain

precisecontrolofthehumidityinyourgarden.

•Setthe‘Temperature’and‘Humidity’dialsatthepreferredtemperatureandhumiditylevels

foryourgarden.

•Finally,plugtheSaturn™1intoadedicated120Volt–15Amppowersource.

•UseofasurgeprotectiondeviceisrecommendedtoprotectyourSaturn™1frompotential

powerdamageinareaswherethismaybeanissue.

•YourSaturn™1willnowcontrolyourequipmentatthedesiredsettings.

Troubleshooting Tips

IftheSaturn™1isnotperformingasexpected,trythefollowing:

a.Conrmthatyourpowerinputsourceisactivebyusingavoltagetestmeter,andverify

thatthepowerinputsourceisproviding120VoltsofpowertotheSaturn™ 1.

b.ValidatethatthepoweroutletsoftheSaturn™1areactivebysettingthetemperature

andhumiditydialstothelowestsettings.Thenuseavoltagetestmetertoverifypoweris

owingthroughthecontrollertothepoweroutlets.

c.Ensurethattheexhaustfanis‘ON’andsetatthefastestspeed,ifadjustable.

•Controllerswithserialnumbersordatetagsthathavebeenremoved,alteredorobliterated;

brokensealsthatshowevidenceoftampering;mismatchedboardserialnumbersor

nonconformingparts,areexcludedfromcoverage.

•TitanControls®makesnowarrantywhatsoeverinrespecttoaccessoriesorpartsnot

suppliedbyTitanControls®.

•Monetaryrefundsofthewarrantywillnotbegiven.

•TheBuyerassumesallresponsibilityregardingtheproperuse&installationofthis

controller.

•AllwarrantyserviceisprovidedthroughtheTitanControls®factory.

•ThiswarrantyshallapplyonlytotheUnitedStates,includingAlaska,Hawaiiandterritories

oftheUnitedStates.

•Defectivecontrollersarerequiredtobereturnedwiththe“proofofpurchase/receipt”for

warrantycoverage.

•Foradditionalwarrantyinformation,contacttheTitanControls®TechnicalService

RepresentativeoryourlocalDealer.

•NOTE:TitanControls®isaManufacturerofenvironmental,timing,lighting,ventilationand

CO2controls.Allsalesofferingstothepublicaredonethroughanationwidegroupof

Dealers.Nosalesofferingswillbemadedirectlytothegeneralpublic.

Service and Repair Program

• Forallserviceandrepairs,pleasecontactbyourTechnicalServiceRepresentativefor

troubleshootingyourgearandattainingaReturnMerchandiseAuthorization(RMA)number,

ifapplicable.

• Allfactoryservice&repairswillbecompletedwithin48hoursofreceiptofcontrolleratthe

factory.

• TitanControls®will,atitsdiscretion,repairorreplacethecontroller.

• FactorycalibrationservicesareavailableforallTitanControls®.

• ReturningUnits:Pleasecontactyourretailstoreforinformationregardingreturns.

d.Checkthatthedehumidieris‘ON’andsettothelowesthumiditylevel.

e.VerifythattheSaturn™1issetatthepropertemperatureandhumiditylevelstoactivate

anddeactivateequipment.

f. Ifyourventilationordehumidicationequipmentdoesnotturnoff,verifythatyourexhaust

fananddehumidierarethecorrectsizeforyourgrowarea.Increasethesizeofexhaust

fanordehumidier(ifnecessary)tocoolanddehumidifythegardenasquicklyaspossible.

g.IfyouarestillhavingproblemswithyourSaturn™1,pleasecontactourTechnicalService

Warranty Information

•Duringthewarrantyperiod,TitanControls®will,atouroption,andwithoutcharge,repairor

replacethisproductifthecontrolleroranyofitscomponentsfailormalfunction.

•AllreturnsorrepairsmustbeaccompaniedbyaReturnMerchandiseAuthorization(RMA)

numberpriortoanyserviceoftheproduct.

•Thiswarrantyisinlieuofallotherwarranties,expressedorimplied,includingthewarranties

ofmerchantabilityandtnessforuse,andofallotherobligationsorliabilitiesonthepartof

theseller.

•Thiswarrantyshallnotapplytothisproductoranypartthereofwhichhadbeendamaged

byaccident,abuse,misuse,modication,negligence,alterationormisapplication.
