First Time Use of the Oven
Unpack the oven. Remove any insert cards or plastic bags. Use a damp cloth to carefully wipe the inner cavity
wall and housing. Clean all the detachable parts in hot, soapy water before using.
Heat the oven on maximum for 45 minutes. There may be a little smoke and odour upon inital start up (for about
15 mins). This is normal. It is due to the protective substance on the heating elements which protects them from
the effects of corrosion during shipping from the factory.
Function Selector Control
This control is used to select the available cooking functions, which are:
Symbol Function Description
Oven Light.
This oven functon is for defrosting food. Air at room
temperature is forced into the internal cavity of the oven.
Note: This function in suitable for defrosting food or raw
products before final preparation.
Heating the oven using the circular heater and the fan function.
The air circulation creates an even temperature throughout the
oven. The temperature can be set from 50-250°C.
Note: This function is also suitable for baking/roasting food in
two separate baking dishes simultaneously (suitable for baking
larger and thicker baked goods, such as cakes, or a larger
amount of food).
Preheating the oven is not necessary.
Grill using the fan function. Due to the hot air circulation,
the temperature in the oven is hotter in the upperpart. The
temperature can be set from 50-250°C.
Note: This function is suitable for grilling or roasting big pieces
of meat at a higher temperature. Leave the oven door closed.
Preheating the oven is not necessary.
Big grill. the big grill uses infrared heat. The temperature can be
set from 50-250°C.
Note: Ideal for bigger pieces of meat. During cooking, refrain
from opening the oven door. During grilling, place the food as
high as possible.
Infrared grill. The temperature can be set from 50-250°C.
Note: Use for smaller or thinner pieces of meat. During cooking,
refrain from opening the oven door. During grilling, put the
food as high as possible.
Heating the oven using the top and bottom elements. The
temperature can be set from 50-250°C.

Timer Control
• The oven will not turn on without the timer being set.
• Turn the timer control to set the operation time (Max 120 min). The indicator
illuminates when the timer is in any position except “0”.
• To set the timer, first turn the timer control more than 90° clockwise and then
turn the control back to your desired time.
• When the timer reaches the “0” position, the oven turns off and makes an
audible sound.
• The timer can be adjusted during cooking cycle.
• If you want to use the oven without a fixed time limit, turn the timer control
anticlockwise to the position. The oven will operate until the timer control
reaches the “0”. position
Thermostat Control
The temperature can be set from 50°C - 250°C. Select the desired temperature, as follows:
To keep food warm 50 - 100°C position
For traditional oven cooking 50 - 250°C position
To toast 250°C position
For all types of grilling 250°C position

Using the Oven
To get the best results, the smallest distance allowed
between the food and the upper heating element is
30 mm.
On the wall of the inner cavity there are 5 different
rack guide slots. You can place the rack at different
heights to achieve the best cooking performance
depending on the heat of the oven and the size of
the food. If only the upper heating element is on, we
suggest that you place the rack on guide 1 (make
sure that there is a minimum distance of 30mm
between the food and the upper heating element).
Always monitor the food during operation to ensure
that you are not overcooking it.
For heavy food, use a baking pan rather than the wire
rack.
Examples of meals you can cook, cooking times and thermostat positions are given in the cooking table.
The values given in the cooking table are given as a guide only.
Cooking times: The results may change according to the area voltage and food having different quality, amount
and temperatures.
During the time when cooking is being performed in the oven, the door of the oven should not be opened
frequently otherwise circulation of the heat may be lost and the results may change.
Using cake tins while cooking cake gives better result.
If accurate temperatures are required then please use an oven thermomet available at good cookware stores.

General Advice
• Wipe the oven after every use.
• Wipe up spills. Avoid leaving alkaline or acidic substances (such as lemon juice or vinegar) on the oven surfaces.
• Do not use cleaning products with a chlorine or acidic base.
Cleaning the Outside of the Oven
Wipe the outside surfaces often, using warm water and a mild household detergent. The stainless steel may also
be cleaned with a suitable cleaner.
Cleaning the Inside of Your Oven
Do not use abrasive cleaners, cloths or pads to clean the enamel.
To make cleaning easier, you can remove the side racks and the oven door (please refer to the "Removing the
Oven Door" section).
The side racks can be removed by loosening the screws to allow easier access to the sides of the oven and then
tightening the screws again after cleaning.
The grill element is self-cleaning.
Cleaning the Enamel Cavity
Clean the enamel on the inside of the oven when it has cooled down, using household detergents or an
ammonia-based cleaner. You may use off the shelf oven cleaners, if you carefully follow the manufacturers’
instructions.
Cleaning the Oven Door Glass
Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the glass oven
door as they will scratch the surface, which may result in the glass shattering.
Steam cleaner is NOT to be used.

Before you start cleaning your oven please:
• Read these cleaning instructions and the ‘Safety Warnings’ section.
• Turn the oven off at the mains socket.
• Make sure the oven is a safe temperature to touch.
• Do not use a steam cleaner.
• Do not keep flammable substances in, on or near the oven.
• If you choose to use a commercial stainless steel cleaner, please read the label to make sure it is
suitable for use on ovens and does not contain chlorine compounds as these are corrosive and may
damage the appearance of your oven.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, cloths or pads on the outside surfaces.
• Immediately wipe off any caustic cleaners if they are spilled onto the oven door handles.

Let the oven cavity and the heating elements cool down.
• Remove the protective cover.
• Unscrew and replace the lamp with a new one suitable for high temperatures
(300°C) with the specifications: 230-240V 50 Hz, 25W, E14
• Refit the protective cover.
To replace the door, repeat the above steps in reverse order.
Replacing the Oven Lamp
Removing the Oven Door
The oven door can easily be removed as follows:
1. Open the door completely.
2. The swivel retainers of the right hand and left hand hinges are
hooked onto the metal bar above them. Lift the retainers as shown.
3. Lift the oven door slightly. The notch on the bottom of the hinge
