youtomakeandreceivecallstoaspeciﬁcradio,andtotransmitandreceivepositioninformationto

andfromaselectedradio.DSCalsoallowstransmissionofadistressalert,toallradioswithinrange,

atthetouchofabutton.OnceaDSCrequestissentandacknowledgedvoicecommunicationis

carriedoutonthechannelchosenbythecaller.Theradiocantransmitandreceiveonallavailable

US,Canadian,InternationalandPrivatemarineVHFchannels.
