Q: Can I assign the the button with a different function?
A: The SWI Programmer does not support this ability . To assign the buttons with different
functions
the SWI must be programmed manually.
Q: After programming not all of the buttons on the steering wheel are working.
A: Please make sure all connections are correct according to the support website
(http://www.pac-audio.com/swixprogramming/swixprogramming.asp). Make sure the correct
make, model, year and options are selected. If all wiring connections and programming
sequences are correct, please contact technical support at 866-931-8021 for further assistance.
Q: LCD is not showing text when power button is pressed.
A: Please make sure fresh Alkaline batteries are used. Rechargeable batteries are not supported
as they typically do not supply enough voltage. If you do not have any batteries make sure the
12v adapter is connected to the car's cigarette lighter/12v socket. If the unit still does not power
up, check the fuse in the tip of the 12v adapter.
The included PAC-UP interface is used to update the PP-SWI rmware and internal database whenever new

vehicle database please refer to the PAC-UP instructions or go to www.pac-audio.com/rmware.
The PAC-UP can also be used to update the rmware on other select PAC interface products. Please refer
