TheNGC-CMA2isdevelopedforWindowsMobile5.ThesoftwareenablesnVentRAYCHEMNGC-20controlunitstobeconfigured
andmonitoredviaaWirelessBluetoothinterface.Theexactuseofthissoftwareisdescribedinthismanual.
Note:Forhazardousarea(Zone1,21andZone2,22usetheNGC-CMA2-EXonly)
TheNGC-20canbeconfiguredineitherStandardmodeorMixedmode.TheMixedmodemeetssituationswhereNGC-20is
communicatingwithanVentRAYCHEMNGC-UIT,otherwisetheNGC-20willbeconfiguredinStandardmode.Inbothcircumstances
adifferentsetofparametersisavailableforconfiguration.

Thisagreementisalegalagreementbetweenyou,“theenduser”,andnVent,LLC(“nVent”).BYINSTALLINGOROTHERWISE
ACCESSINGTHISPROGRAM,YOUAREAGREEINGTOBECOMEBOUNDBYTHETERMSOFTHISAGREEMENT.IFYOUDONOT
AGREETOTHETERMSOFTHISAGREEMENT,DONOTINSTALLORACCESSTHISPROGRAM.IFINSTALLINGOROTHERWISE
ACCESSINGTHISPROGRAMBYOPENINGASEALEDDISKPACKAGE,PROMPTLYRETURNTHEUNOPENEDDISKPACKAGEAND
THEOTHERITEMS(INCLUDINGWRITTENMATERIALSOROTHERCONTAINERS)TOTHEPLACEWHEREYOUOBTAINEDTHEM.
GRANT OF LICENSE
ThenVentRAYCHEMNGC-20handheldSoftware(the“Software”)islicensed,notsold,toyouforuseonlyunderthetermsofthis
Agreement,andnVentreservesanyrightsnotexpresslygrantedtoyou.SubjecttothetermsandconditionsofthisAgreement,
nVentgrantstoyouanon-exclusive,nontransferable,lim¬itedlicense(withouttherighttosublicenseothers)tousetheonecopy,
includingwrittenmaterialsifany,oftheSoftwareonasinglecomputeratthelocation(companyandaddress)towhichnVentissued
thiscopyoftheNGC-20handheldSoftware.TheSoftwareisownedbynVentLLCandisprotectedbyUnitedStatescopyrightlaws
andinternationaltreatyprovisions.AllcopiesmadebyyouaresubjecttothetermsandconditionsofthisAgreement.Thestructure,
organisationandcodeoftheSoftwarearevaluabletradesecretsandconfidentialinformationofnVent.Youagreenottomodify,
alter,merge,adapt,duplicate,distribute,translate,decompile,disassemble,reverseengineer,createderivativeworks,copyfor
useonanyothercomputeroratanyotherlocation,orotherwisemakethissoftwareavailabletoanypersonorentityoutsidethis
location.TheSoftwareislicensedonlytoyou.Innoeventmayyoutransfer,sell,sublicense,rent,assignortransferrights,lease,or
otherwisedisposeoftheSoftwareonatemporaryorpermanentbasiswithoutthepriorwrittenconsentofnVent.Youagreetouse
reasonableeffortstoprotectagainsttheunauthorisedcopyinganduseoftheSoftwarebyothers.Youagreenottoremove,disable
orcircumventanyproprietarynoticesorlabelscontainedonorwithintheSoftware.
OTHER RESTRICTIONS
Youmaynotsublicense,rentorleasetheNGC-20handheldSoftwaretoanyone.
YouagreetonotifynVentpromptlyif“bugs”orseeminglyincorrectoranomalousbehaviourisdiscoveredwhenusingtheSoftware.
YouagreethattheNGC-20handheldSoftware,includingwrittenmaterials(ifany)andallcopiesinwholeorinpart,willbedestroyed
orreturnedtonVentatthewrittenrequestofthenVentProductManager.
ByinstallingorotherwiseaccessingtheNGC-20handheldSoftwareyouacknowledgethatyouhavereadandunderstoodnVent’
DisclaimerofWarrantyandLimitationofLiability,setforthbelow.
YouagreetousereasonableeffortstoprotectagainsttheunauthorisedcopyingandusetheNGC-20handheldSoftwarebyothers.

INDEMNITY
Totheextentallowedunderfederalandstatelaw,youagreetoindemnifyandholdnVent,itsparents,subsidiaries,affiliates,
officers,employees,sponsorsandpartnersharmlessfromanyclaim,loss,cost,expense,demand,ordamage,includingreasonable
attorneys’fees,arisingdirectlyorindirectlyoutof(a)youruseof,orinabilitytouse,theSoftware,(b)youractivitiesinconnection
therewith,or(c)yourbreachofthisAgreementorviolationoftherightsofanyotherparty.
TERMINATION
ThelicensegrantedhereinwillautomaticallyterminatewithoutnoticefromnVentifyoufailtocomplywithanytermorcondition
ofthisAgreement.Youagree,uponsuchtermination,toremovetheNGC-20handheldSoftwarefromanymemoryand/orstorage
mediaordevice,andtoreturntheNGC-20handheldSoftware,includingallmediaandwrittenmaterials,ordestroythesameand
certifysuchdestructiontonVent,alongwithanybackuporothercopiesinyourpossession.
COMPLETE AGREEMENT – MODIFICATION IN WRITING
ThisAgreementconstitutesthesoleandcompleteunderstandingbetweenthepartieswithrespecttotheNGC-20handheld
Softwareanditsuse,andmaynotbevariedexceptbyawritingsignedbyanofficerofnVent.Youagreethatyoumaynotrelyonany
representationsconcerningtheNGC-20handheldSoftwaretotheextenttheyvaryfromthisAgreement,andsuchrepresentations,if
any,willneitheraddtonorvarythetermsofthisAgreement.
CHOICEOFLAWS.ThisAgreementisgovernedbythelawsoftheStateofCaliforniaandtheUnitedStates,includingU.S.Copyright
Laws.
EXPORT LAWS
TheNGC-20handheldSoftwaremayrequirealicensefromtheU.S.DepartmentofCommerceorothergovernmentalagencybefore
itmaybeexported.Theterm“export”includesmanyacts(suchastransferringtheNGC-20handheldSoftwaretoaforeigncitizen
withintheUnitedStates),inadditiontosendingortakingtheNGC-20handheldSoftwareoutsidetheUnitedStates.Youagreeto
ascertainthenecessarylicensingproceduresandobtainanyrequiredlicensesbeforeexportingtheNGC-20handheldSoftware.
YoualsoagreetoindemnifynVentandassumeallfinancialresponsibilityforanylossesitmaysufferifyoudonotcomplywiththis
paragraph.
GOVERNMENT RESTRICTED RIGHTS
UseracknowledgesthattheNGC-20handheldSoft¬warehasbeendevelopedatprivateexpenseandisprovidedwith“Restricted
Rights.”Use,duplicationordisclosurebytheGovernmentissubjecttorestrictionsassetforthinsubparagraph(b)(3)andparagraph
(c)oftheRightsinTechnicalDataclauseat48C.F.R.252.227-7013,orsubparagraphs(c)(1)and(2)oftheCommercialComputer
Software–RestrictedRightsclauseat48C.F.R.52.227-19,asapplicable.ThisprovisionappliestotheNGC-20handheldSoftware
acquireddirectlyorindirectlybyoronbehalfofanygovernment.TheNGC-20handheldSoftwareisacommercialproduct,licensed
ontheopenmarketatmarketprices,andwasdevelopedentirelyatprivateexpenseandwithouttheuseofanygovernment
funds.Anyuse,modification,reproduction,release,performance,display,ordisclosureoftheNGC-20handheldSoftwarebyany
governmentshallbegovernedsolelybythetermsofthisAgreementandshallbeprohibitedexcepttotheextentexpresslypermitted
bythetermsofthisAgreement,andnolicensetotheNGC-20handheldSoftwareisgrantedtoanygovernmentrequiringdifferent
terms.
ASSIGNMENT
YoumayneitherassignanyrightnordelegateanyobligationunderthisAgreementandattemptedassignmentordelegationshallbe
void.nVentmayfreelyassignthisagreementanditsrightsandobligationsthereundertoanythirdparty.
INVALID PROVISIONS
IfanyoftheprovisionsofthisprovisionsAgreementareinvalidunderanyapplicablestatuteorruleoflaw,theyaretothatextent
deemedomitted.
WAIVER
NofailureordelayofnVentinexercisingorenforcinganyrightorprovisionofthisAgreementshallconstituteawaiverofsuchright
orprovision,oranyotherrightorprovisionhereunder.Furthermore,anywaiverbynVentofanyrightorprovisionofthisAgreement
shallnotbeconstruedas,orconstitute,acontinuingwaiverofsuchrightorprovision,orwaiverofanyotherrightorprovisionofthis
Agreement.

ThesectiontitlesinthisAgreementareforconvenienceonly.
SURVIVABILITY
YouagreethatthetermsandconditionsofthisAgreementshallsurviveanyterminationofthisAgreementandyourrightstousethe

1.4. User Responsibilities
Theperformance,reliabilityandsafetyofyourheat-tracingsystemdependonproperdesign,selection,andinstallation.TheNGC-
CMA2willhelpyoutoconfigureandmonitorasystemthatmeetsyourrequirements,butitisonlyatool.Itassumesthatyourinput
isaccurate,thatyouarefamiliarwithheat-tracingsystemdesignandconfiguration,andthatyouwillensurethatallcomponents
oftheheat-tracingsystemareinstalled,maintainedandusedasintended.TheconfigurationoftheNGC-20handheldshouldbe
reviewedbyaknowledgeableengineertoensureitisappropriateforyourapplication.Additionalinformationrelatingtosafety,
design,andinstallationiscontainedinDesignGuides,InstallationManuals,DataSheets,andotherliteratureavailablefromnVent.

4. USING THE NGC-CMA2 IN STANDARD MODE
WhenoperatedintheStandardModethemaximumsetofparametersareavailableforconfigurationandmonitoring.Thefollowing
