1. Attach the base (10) to the stand (8) by using the 4 screws (11) provided.
2. Loosen guard mounting nut (4) from the motor housing (6).
3. Position rear guard (5) firmly to motor housing and then fasten by turning guard mounting nut clockwise
tightly.
4. Push the blade (3) along the motor shaft and fasten it firmly with the spinner by turning anti-clockwise.
5. Hang the front guard (2) to the rear guard with the position fixer provided at the rim of the guard and then
fix together with the screw and clips provided.
1. Check that the mains voltage complies with the voltage stated on this product.
2. Ensure the fan is placed on a flat even surface.
3. To control the speed of the fan, press the 1, 2 or 3 button on the base of the fan.
• 1 = Low Speed
• 2 = Medium Speed
• 3 = High Speed
Note: DF9010 only has 2 speed settings.
4. Push down the Oscillation control (7) to turn on the Oscillating function. Pull the Oscillation Control up to
turn it off. Ensure the fan will not be obstructed when oscillating
5. To turn the fan off, press the 0 button on the base. Switch off at the mains and remove the plug.
1. Turn off the fan and remove the plug from the wall socket before cleaning.
2. Use a dry soft cloth to remove any dust from the fan.
3. If the fan is particularly dirty use a soft damp cloth and wipe dry.
4. Do not use any chemicals or detergents as they will damage the fan.
5. Store the fan in a ventilated and dry area.
