Getting to know your desk fan
Please read these instructions and have a good look
at the illustrations before using your desk fan.

Your desk fan should be used in such a
way that it is protected from moisture. e.g.
condensation, splashed water etc
Stand your desk fan on a stable, level
surface during use.
Do not place or store your desk fan where
it can fall or be pulled into water or any
other liquid.
Do not reach for the appliance if it
has fallen in any water or any
other liquid. Unplug immediately.
Your desk fan should be unplugged
from the wall socket when left unused
for a long time.
Your desk fan should be placed away
from heat sources such as radiators,
gas/electric fires and direct sunlight.
Keep the power cord away from any
heated surfaces.
Use the appliance only for its intended
use, as described in this manual.
Do not use outdoors.
It is DANGEROUS to insert fingers or
objects into the grill. Do not allow young
children to play with your desk fan.
Close supervision is necessary when your
desk fan is used near children.
Never use your desk fan if it is
damaged in any way.
Do not remove any fixed covers. Never
use this appliance if it is not working
properly, or if it has been dropped or
damaged.

form or by any means, without the prior permission

Align the BASE with the neck of
the fan and use the BASE SET
SCREW to join the two together.

How to assemble your desk fan
Make sure
your desk
fan is
unplugged
before you
attempt to
assemble
Thread the BLADE onto the MOTOR
SHAFT. Ensure the slot in the BLADE
matches up with the notch on the
MOTOR SHAFT.

Remove the four REAR GUARD
LOCK SCREWS on the MOTOR. Align
the rear guard with the four holes on
the MOTOR (ensuring the handle is
positioned at the top of the fan). Insert
the four screws and tighten.

Tighten the screw to secure the
blades.
Insert a screw into the hole at the
bottom of the fan guards and tighten

Fit the front guard by securing it with
the four locking grips. Ensure that
with a nut.
the hole is aligned at the bottom of the
fan.

How to use your desk fan
Plug into a mains socket and
switch on at the wall.
Turn the speed control switch to
positions 1, 2 or 3 to switch the
fan on.
To make the fan move from side to
side, push the OSCILLATING
PIN into the MOTOR
HOUSING.
To adjust the tilt angle of the fan,
switch the unit off .
Loosen the ADJUSTING KNOB,

plug into the mains socket.
Ensure the fan is switched off at the control switch before inserting the

Cleaning
The fan blade and body of the unit should be cleaned
using a cloth dampened with warm water and
detergent. Make sure you do not allow water to seep
into the controls or motor housing of your desk fan.
Always unplug your desk fan from the mains supply
before attempting cleaning. Do not use harsh cleaners
or solvents on the fan as they may damage the casing.
