OPERATION GUIDE
Check for damage
Upon opening please ensure that all parts are available and
that the appliance, cord and plug are not damaged.
Connect to a suitable power supply, corresponding to that of
the appliance, 220-240V~ 50Hz.
Remove the stainless steel dome lid.
To allow the air trapped in the eggs to escape make small
holes in the tops of the eggs by using the ‘egg pecker’ located
under the supplied water measuring cup. Warning! Be very
careful; the tip is very sharp. Make the hole at the narrow end
of the eggshell.
Place up to 7 fresh hens eggs onto the plastic spacer leaving
the “pointy” smaller end of the egg pointing up.
After the eggs are in place fill the water cup to the desired
level depending on the degree to which you require the eggs
cooked SOFT, MEDIUM or HARD-boiled. Fill the water to the
level number equal to the number of eggs in the cooker.
For example if you wanted to cook 4 HARD-boiled eggs then
you would follow the HARD scale and fill it to the level showing
4.
Pour the water into the stainless cooking chamber under the
eggs and place the lid back on top.
Cooking time will vary from 12 minutes SOFT-boiled to 17
minutes for a HARD-boiled result.
3
OPERATION GUIDE (continued)
Turn the power on and switch the illuminated switch to ‘I’ to
begin cooking.
CAUTION! The metal dome will be very hot when in use, take
care only to touch the black plastic parts when opening the
dome. NEVER move the cooker when in operation or when
hot. Do not cover the steam hole on the top of the cooking
dome and be aware that very hot steam will be present when
cooking.
When the cooking is complete an audible warning will sound,
simply turn the illuminated switch to ‘O’ and turn off the power
at the wall socket.
You may now remove the lid and move the eggs to a plate to
cool. Be careful as the eggs will be very hot and may burn
fingers.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electric appliances always observe safety
regulations where applicable to reduce the risk of fire, electric
shock and personal injury. Always check that the power supply
corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.
Always use the ‘egg pecker’ supplied to make holes in the tops
of the eggs before cooking or the egg shells will crack.
CAUTION: Care is to be taken to avoid injury from being
caused by the ‘egg pecker’ as its point is very sharp.
