The Status Notifier is classified as a GLU Product
(General Laboratory Use Product). The product is an
indicator lamp both visual and audible to aid customers
awareness of the attached analyzer status.

About the Status Notifier
The Status Notifier is a feature that informs the user of
the instrument status from a distance.
It is composed of a status light and an acoustic alarm.
Colors, sound, and statuses The following table describes how color and sound of the
Status Notifier correspond to the analyzer statuses.

Confirming an analyzer alarm
If an analyzer alarm occurs, the Status Notifier light
changes to red, the acoustic alarm starts, and the
button appears on the monitor.
Button
Mute function To mute the acoustic alarm once it is triggered, choose
one of the following options:
• On the monitor choose the mute button.
q You can choose the mute button in one of the
following ways:
o Select it with the mouse
o Use the screen stylus
o Use your finger
• On the keyboard, press the shortcut key (Alt+Ctrl+M).
If the analyzer alarm is not confirmed, the acoustic alarm
restarts.
r To confirm an analyzer alarm

On the top-right of the work area, choose the
button or press the shortcut key (Alt+Ctrl+M).

Check the alarm message.

Start remedy action.
• When the reason of the alarm is solved, the Status
Notifier changes to green.
• If the alarm persists, contact your Roche Service
representative.
